I have been using the soft Mexican (Mayan) string hammocks my whole life. They're wonderful but do not hold up well outdoors and run kind of small. This weather resistant hammock is not only beautiful but pretty much perfect in every way. I was worried about the texture becasue the images make it seem very rough. Its kind of a rough-smooth feel and actually very comfortable on the skin. It's extremely breathable fabric that can hold up through any weather. It's a very large hammock that lets you look out but also had the added benefit of privacy when needed. It's very sturdy and could definitely handle holding 2 people for cuddles. Will definitely be buying another soon so I can put them all over my yard!!! Mwahahaha!!! 😈

The hammock is very pretty and nice and big. My husband is over 6' tall and he has plenty of room in it. Only drawback is that the synthetic fiber is a bit rough but not excessively so. It will probably last longer than our all-cotton hammock.

So far, So good. I will probably purchase 2 more of these hammocks. I ordered, hoping it would arrive in time for memeorial day. I contacted the seller, and she made sure it did. Its very popular when i have gatherings. The colors are bright, the material is strong and the hammock is very comfortable. You can wrap yourself in it like a cocoon and take an afternoon nap. We purchased the tree straps separately, which were very easy to put on. Me and my husband cuddle in it together(400lbs) and we never felt uncomfortable like its going to tear or we're going to fall. I searched for a durable, heavy weight hammock and this totally met my expectations. As a precaution and to prolong the fabric, we bring it in on days it rains. This hammock is worth the money. I would totally recommend and will be purchasing again in the future.

I bought the king size olefin hammock to replace a cotton hammock. I use it on a hammock stand that I had used for the cotton hammock. I researched a bit on the different materials that can be used and the positive and negative of them. I plan on leaving it out exposed to the elements like rain and morning sunlight . I only had experience with the cotton, which rotted out and would stay damp for a long time but was very comfortable. Olefin seamed a good choice since quick dry, UV protection, color longevity. At first I found the material rough and uncomfortable with too much fabric, warmth and lack of ventilation. After a little experimenting by inverting and twisting the hook I found the air circulation and lounging comfort better. I recommend this hammock but you may need to try different positions and hanging techniques to maximize your comfort.

We LOVE our new hammock. It's made of a sturdy material and is the perfect size for two (or one!) people. We got the king size. We installed ours using eye bolts screwed into trees in our yard. We've had it over a month now and so far it has held up great!!
