This is a review for the conditioner only. It’s a rich purple and knocked out the yellow/green blonde in my hair. (Photo is my hair after conditioning, forgot to take before but there’s no more green/yellow blond.) in the second picture is showing the color of the conditioner compared to most conditioners I’ve seen. If you have super light blonde hair then this will definitely tint your hair purple. And if you’re trying to get rid of that brassy honey orange, I don’t think this will work for you. But if you have that greenish yellow blonde, this will work perfect. I left on for five minutes. This is after the second wash in a week, with two days inbetween. It makes my hair super soft, so that’s a plus. I’ve never had a purple shampoo/conditioner make much of a difference. But this dark purple conditioner worked so well! My hairdresser turned me onto this stuff it's very lovely and doesn't smell perfume me just clean and lovely and it makes sure gray hair bright and shiny instead of being dull and just grey on your head lol. I have actually gotten comments on how pretty my hair is since I started using it.

This makes my hair very silky and smooth without being greasy. It does the job toning yellow/brassy hair to a brighter and blonder color. The only thing I don't love is the strong scent. To me it resembles mens cologne and sometimes bothers me.

How did I not know about purple shampoo until a few months ago? I stopped dyeing my hair over a decade ago but didn't know that I could compliment my grays with purple shampoo, giving a less severe stark gray to a more silver-platinum tone that's very sleek. Loreal is one of the best...buy both shampoo & conditioner. I use it once to twice a week, it doesn't make my hair purple but more of a platinum-silver look. It's not permanent so u don't have to do touch-ups or worry about allergies. It smells good too. PS this purple shampoo & conditioner r the last step in washing ur hair. You will wash ur hair with ur own favorite shampoo to clean ur hair & scalp. Then u will wash again with this Loreal shampoo, rinse out & condition. Rinse out and now enjoy ur new hue!! I was not satisfied with the conditioner but it did smell good. It’s more of a blue colour instead of purple. I tried this conditioner because it was cheaper but I noticed that I have more split ends when I used this product. 😕

10/10 this stuff works. My natural color might be mousy blonde with a bunch of grey, but I don’t really know because I’m constantly going from dark brown to platinum blonde and back again. When going from dark brown to blonde, it takes several sessions of bleach and toner. This time even after all that I still had way too much orange/yellow brassiness. I applied this conditioner to my dry hair and left it for about 15 minutes. It took out the brass that toners haven’t touched. My hair feels soft, the damaged ends are less noticeable, and it’s the icy/pearl blonde I love. It’s more blue than purple, but I find that tends to work better for my stubborn brassy tones.
