    • Whew, this thing has some POWER!
This light is HIGH INTENSITY! I had to strap it to the ceiling to get the levels right! But let me tell you, the plants absolutely love it and keep growing towards it, and they are HUGE. This light is an excellent value for the money. I do wish it had a dimmer or some ability to toggle manually, and I’d buy another if I could daisy chain! It’s cool that it has the temperature guard to keep your plants from getting too hot but honestly this light gets nowhere near that, even in an enclosed space. Anyway if you’re growing on a budget and can’t afford a $600 light, this one can absolutely do the job. I’ve gotten so many people raving about my plants and asking what lights I use and I can’t even pronounce the brand name correctly for them lol ... show more

Decent light. Flowers look good. Only issue I have is at 6in from tops of my flowers it hits 850 ppfd which isn't terrible and heat isn't bad but a far cry from the 1950 at 12. I've tried it on all settings and flowers look good but wish I had that extra ppfd to push my dli higherm

    • Great light. Timer functions and temp are nice on the display.
I got the PT-5000. It's about 490 watts actual draw. 9 bars of LED's. The time and temp settings on the digital display are easy to see and use. It turns on when I want, and Off when I want. I haven't had it through summer yet, so I don't know about the heat temp settings. Hopefully my stuff won't get that hot. I put the wires on the wrong ends at first. and it was out of balance. I also got 2 x 4" USB fans and put them ontop of the lights, so I got some airflow through the light. It helps keep a breeze on my canopy. This was a decent value for some Samsung 281b diodes, and a 500w size. I have 4 plants under it, and another 5 around it. You need to be about 15" away from the light for good sized flowers. UPDATE: 6 months later, Light is GREAT. UV & IR light Diodes on this one. Most lights don't have the UV, and it really really helps THC/CBD production. ... show more

    • Huge issues with temperature sensor
I purchased this light for my grow tent. Initially, we couldn't get it to turn on! We discovered that the light turns on only if we unplug the temperature sensor. The moment we plug it back in, the power goes out again. I discussed the issue with Amazon customer service, but they couldn't help us troubleshoot, so they sent us a replacement. Four days later, I got the replacement and found it had the SAME EXACT PROBLEM. We ended up returning both and going with another brand. We needed a light for our 4x4 tent while waiting for the newest light. We ran it without the temperature sensor and found it ran way too hot, killing our girls. A functional temperature sensor would have corrected the problem by reducing the lights when the temperature exceeds 80 degrees. Unfortunately, this light sucks. It's a waste of time, money, and energy. I recommend that you keep looking. We ended up with the BESTVA 2024 Newest Upgrade 4000W Led Grow Light, which is working well so far... ... show more

For the cost this light is amazing. It’s heavy and well built. Built in auto timer with temp switching is great. When I received mine I had a faulty temp sensor but I contacted the seller and they sent a new one. I like this light so much I ordered another one.
