I am very sensitive to smells and purchased this bases on the fact that it is unscented. It did not bother me at all. BE AWARE that there IS A SCENT from the ingredients used to make the product so is therefore not fragrance free. It is however free of perfumes and other added fragrances and it worked well for me. It’s a great hair spray from L’Oréal (I find the L’Oréal Paris ones are the better from their basic) it doesn’t weigh down, no stickiness or flaking crunchiness. However, if you keep spraying or spray every day without washing your hair it will do that. Lightly apply it and make sure to wash your hair thoroughly every other day, use the clean shampoos or products removing residues maybe once-twice a month and moisturize, should help manage keeping your hair healthy. That said, it is one of the most expensive OTC (not sold at professional high end hair salons) you’ll buy, but so worth it! ... show more

I don’t skimp on hair products. But this is one drug store brand that I always seem to come back to. It works so well, and is so much less expensive than salon alternatives. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the options they offer!
