I'll start by saying that I think this safe is a decent buy considering the price. I would say that it offers a good amount of protection however with the following caveats: 1) The first time you open the safe you have to unbolt the keyhole cover. They are tightened down with too much force and are stripped or poorly machined. I returned the first one I got because of this, but managed to get one (and only one) of the hex bolts loose on the second safe. I was able to slide (pivot) the cover enough to use the key but will probably have to drill out the second bolt at some point 2) The deposit doesn't have any sort of cantilever system to block access. you can easily reach into the safe (but only touch the top) If you don't secure this safe with bolts to the wall all you would need to do is turn it upside down to get everything out. -- Bottom line, you need to secure this for it to be effective. With that in mind, I think this is a fairly stout secure safe for the price. ... show more

So compact and slim, not at all bulky in size. Love the dual locks, makes this even more secured due to needing both keys to open. Front facing slot on top makes it so convenient to drop money and envelopes and not have to worry about losing it. One of my favorite purchases I made so far and the price was affordable as well so that was a plus ;) ... show more

BUYER BE WARE!!!! This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this product. First time was 5 years ago and the safe was great and lasted although the hinge always fell out. I finally decided it was time for a new one. So I bought one in April 2023 and within 45 days the keypad stopped working so I had to start using the key and the hinge fell again. I was able to go through Amazon and get a replacement. The replacement once again last only a month as the keypad again stopped working. And this time amazon won’t help and I can’t get a hold of the vendor. Product is absolute junk and they don’t stand behind yet. ... show more
