Kym Industries Inc. Apache Series motor will have your electric tarp system up and running in no time with our 3, 4 or 5 universal bolt pattern. Combining a 600W electric motor and the 50:1 gear box ratio make it the quickest motor on the market. This motor is perfect for beds up to 28 feet using mesh tarps or beds up to 22' using heavy vinyl or mesh tarps. This motor combines, durability, speed and economy all in one. Opening, separating, welding or otherwise tampering with motor and gearbox will void warranty. 6 gauge wire recommended for best performance, 8 gauge wire can be used.

Used my old hand crank gear box. Removed the hand wheel. Connected this motor to the shaft on the old boat lift gearbox and the speed matched perfectly. Had to use a bushing to match the shaft size. Seems to have enough power to raise the pontoon without struggling.
