I have been wanting a pergola over my hot tub for a while. Stumbled across this and thought it would work out better than me building one with a retractable top cover. Love the detail of the wood grain, looks real! Top moves smoothly and latches great! Really completed the look for my area. I did dig out holes and screws two 2x4s together and concrete them in the ground so the posts could slide over the wood support and screw into them. A more permanent solution instead of using the supplied brackets. Instructions could use a little more detail, but was able to figure out and built within a few hours. Overall a great product and will highly recommend to anyone!

Terrible, cheap product. Instructions make no sense. Everything is mis-labeled, and some instructions are even backwards to where you have to undo something you already did. Save yourself time and get something different.

Ordered on the10th and delivered on the 17th without any damage. It took me a full day to assemble it by myself. Overall it was as described although the directions could be better. The 3 star rating is due to missing parts and poor or no customer service. Amazon gave me a email address and I also called the toll free number. I called the toll free number on 5/12 and was told something would happen in 24-48 hrs. I emailed on 5/15 and I still have not had a reply. It was a Mothers day gift and she is happy with it but now I will have to make my own end caps. Amazon did give me a partial refund so at least they helped out.

You get what you pay for. I think it will do ok but the metal is very thin. Shipping was not good. Lots of damaged parts that I had to bend back to make it work. Not gonna look like a new product because of it. The instructions were vague.
