  • Inexpensive but effective.
Great tool, did the job for me on my VW cylinder head. Only thing that'd be a bit better is having the drive bolts with a hex or Allen head for easier & faster tightening or loosening

  • Light duty but perfect for small jobs.
I'm rebuilding the cylinder heads on my 650 V-Strom and my automotive spring compressor is to large. This kit is light duty but is working fine on my heads. If it gets lost after I'm finished with it, money well spent.

  • Good tool for the money
The interchangeable sizes are nice. Overall built well. Would be better if cups were more firmly attached and didn't allow so much flex

It was a little awkward couldn't use it had to send it back

  • You pay for what you get
It does the job as long as it is a small job. I gave 3 stars because it was only able to compress 3 out of 4 valve springs in my head. It flexes pretty bad. I ended up having to use a vise with soft jaws and a socket to get the last valve out. Also pretty bad design on the case because you have to disassemble the tool after every time you use it if you want to put it back up. I will definitely spend a little bit more money and get a better one next time, I might of went to cheap on this one. ... show more
