    • Attractive ceiling light
I bought this light fixture in hopes of replacing one of the dated "boob" lights in my 1990s house. The only downside is that a lot of the older flush ceiling lights have a wide base, whereas this has a narrow base, so you'll have to do some drywall patching and painting if you're trying to replace an older light. I do wish I knew whether or not it's ok to install in a bathroom, as it's not mentioned anywhere in the product description. So I decided to install it in my kitchen instead. I selected this light fixture based purely on the style. But I was pleasantly surprised it has the quality I prefer as well. No one wants to go to the trouble installing a fixture that doesn't seem like it will last a while, and be safe. This one checks the boxes for me. I do appreciate this style of light; where you never ever have to change or buy a bulb. It's all LED. You use it until it quits, which is years. This is one of the more stylish, flat style ones that I have seen. It also has 3 levels of light, you select one before installing. I have LED in every light in and outside my house. The cost is so little, I am able to have lights on all night, which I like. This is bright enough for an overhead kitchen light.     • A neutral, nice-looking fixture.
The canopy is what makes this light. I like that the frame is metal and the trim is gold. It has a very neutral, yet elegant look that would fit any room. I also like that it has two "colors" of light that closely resemble warm and soft light of incandescent light bulbs. The instructions, including the pictures, are helpful. It's a relatively simple installation. One thing to keep in mind with this (and other lights) is that it's not very bright. I've learned that a light's "color" does not equate to brightness. The more I'm incorporating the LED lights into my home, the more I'm learning. I have a few 12W lights/fixtures and they all aren't very bright. The ones that are bright have a higher ##W. If you're looking for a full-room bright light for a bedroom or wherever you intend to use this, this probably won't work for you. If you're looking for a less intensive light (and there are places where that is useful), then this is perfect. ... show more

This is a clean, modern light fixture that looks very nice. It comes ready to hang with instructions on how to put it up. Make sure that you are aware of the 2 different sizes as each size works better for different areas. The larger one is better for bedrooms and the smaller one is better for hallways and other small areas, in my opinion. This ceiling light is perfect for low ceilings. It also reflects light so you get better light refraction as well. It showcases the light so you always get better lighting in a room as well. Definitely a modern look for any home.
