This worked well for me, I had my motor hanging for 7 days. I was able to see a very slight bow on the bar and confirm using a straight edge, however it remained stable and the bow didn't increase. I feel safe using this and will be using it again in the future.

Seems well made. The main concern from many other reviews seems to have been corrected. It no longer has a plastic knob holding the fender brackets to the bar. They have been replaced with welded wing nuts and large washers. It has the typical fit issues of Chinese products such as some of the rubber feet brackets or too loose and others too tight. The threads are too long on the studs that fit into the lift nuts. If you turn them all the way in they interfere with the threaded lift rod . The bolts and nuts for the side brackets or poor quality and have no flat, or lock washers. No lock nut either. I will probably replace them with better quality hardware. I will try using red Loctite or grinding off some of the length of the to keep the studs from jamming into lift bolt.

major design flaw makes this tool incredibly dangerous. The two knobs that hold the feet to the rail are plastic. They should be metal. Should be a bolt there. Not a stud with plastic cap. No side to side stability. Even a slight side to side motion and mine began to fail. Replaced those parts with a bolt on each side. Now it is safe to use. Do NOT use this unless you do that mod. It probably will fall.

I saw the flaw before I anything serious happened! To the genius who designed this... Hey! Don't ever use any kind of plastic in a area that holds the most weight and stress, please include large thick steel washers!! Or people could get seriously hurt! This did what I needed it to do and then some and I can use it again for different vehicles/ applications!

*** original*** Late. I could have bought any other brand and it would have showed up by expected delivery date. I needed this to get my transmission done this weekend and now I’m sitting around waiting till Monday. 0/10 stars if you need a engine support bar by a deadline for a job*** ***edit on delivery*** . This is unbelievable quality. I would not hesitate to buy and wait for this to be delivered again. Hung my transmission and motor no problem with me underneath. Welds are good, hardware is all quality. I could not even build one myself for the price of materials… do not hesitate to buy this!!!! 5/5 made easy work of a hard job.
