Great engine stand. Mine is holding up a 500lbs+ motor. Before mounting the engine, add a little lube to the part that turns. It makes it way easier to flip the engine over.

Ok, I was going back and forth if this is a 4 or a 5. The reason I went with a 4 is that even though it was really cheap, only 3 wheels are touching at a time because of cheap weld quality. Let’s be real, even being cheap, you can use a decent jig for your welding. Overall, not bad for the price, but it could be a little better with almost no effort. I will shim frame and will make it work. Oh, also there were NO instructions and the stop pin was bored on the wrong end.

The plate where you bolt the motor to the stand doesn't fit a GM 5.3 LS motor. Otherwise it's a nice stand. It came with no bolts for the motor. We used a different mounting plate and bought bolts for the LS.

Just assembled my stand. With the exception of one spot on the base, the welds were well done. That one spot seemed to have ended prematurely. It doesn't affect the usability, it just doesn't match the uniformity of the other welds. Assembly was easy despite the lack of instructions.The powder coating was even on most of the body. The rear wheel axle and the holes in the head plate where you insert the handle were the few spots that had too much build up and had to be cleaned up to work as desired. The locking pin is a bit short and didn't have a hole to mount the pull ring. I'll be replacing that with a third party trailer hitch pin. The only other modification I had to make was to drill holes for, and install, a pin through the handle so that it could hang in the head plate without falling out when vertical.

The wheels are collapsing and ball bearings are falling out with the weight of a 5.3ls with heads, intake, and accessory drive. I'm glad I noticed before my engine was on the floor..
