This tent has been used for 6 trips so far one where we had a nasty storm with 60mph winds. The tent was laying almost on top of us but it did not blow away or rip! We did get a little wet but made it through. Its well made and easy to put up. I love that one side completely opens up but also had a full screen that can be zipped open. If you hate building your camping tent with connecting poles, sliding them in what you hope are the correct places to make your tent stand correctly and you want to save time, this is your tent. Myh gf bought the 8-10 person size one to use with her kids but I went with the 6-8 size and its amazing for my son and myself. Im 5'10" and can stand up in the tent without hitting my head. It pops up very easy, has the rain flap that goes over top, plenty of air flow and multiple ways in and out. I had this put up in 5 minutes, back down in around the same time(I went slow to not bend/rip anything) and it goes back in its bag to carry. Great ten for anyone who is new to camping or anyone looking for an upgrade for their current tent. ... show more

I set this up in our garage before we went camping to figure it out and it went up fairly easily. Then we took it camping and WHAT A PAIN. It didnt seem to want to stand up. I don't know what I was doing wrong. The instructions are horrific. Add a couple more pages and help people out for godsakes. I can't remember what we finally did to get it to stand up but it did. We were camping in 32 degree weather and each night there was condensation on all of the walls and ceiling. We even tried cracking the roof vent. It came with this room divider thing but not the front awning that the picture shows going out over the front. We got the poles for it though. They also claim this is a 6 person tent. WRONG! My husband and I and our 2 dogs went and that is all would put in this tent. You might be able to fit 6 corpses but not 6 living humans who would have to move around, possibly get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or anything. I would say absolute max of adults is 3. After we got home I was trying to set it up in the garage again to let it dry out and again, I couldn't get it to stand. It's like a baby giraffe trying to stand on fresh legs. Again, no clue what I'm doing wrong and the instructions are absolutely worthless. Also, companies.... you know how to fold your products up perfectly to get them to fit into your skin tight bags. We, the customer, when we are out in the woods, can't remember that. Give us a LITTLE more space in the bags these things are supposed to fit inside of but it is a PAAAAAIN to try and get this back in its bag when you are already exhausted and maybe trying to put it away in the cold or rain. Would I buy this one again? I don't know. It's certainly not as simple as it looks and when you add in being out in the woods trying to deal with it.... maybe a traditional tent with poles is easier. ... show more

Didn't use it in any bad weather yet, but it was great for a family camping trip. We fit a queen sized air mattress in the back room, and the front room made a great pantry room. Seams look solid, no rips or tears after a week of use. Tent itself held solid in moderate wind. Only downside were the confusing/ incomplete instructions for set up. If you buy, be sure to set it up in your back yard first. First time took a half hour, once I figured it out, the second set up took maybe 5 minutes. ... show more

I will add photos later, But it was an extremely easy set up, we tested it out and It only took us maybe 15 minutes to set it up for the first time, thats including the time it took to read the instructions. This was just our test run, so when we go camping I will add photos of the set up and review it more. I believe we will be able to fully set it up within ten minutes since we will not need the instructions next time, it is a fairly straight forward set up. Edit. Changed my review to 1 stars after actually using the tent. There was water leaking in all over the place and it was not even raining that hard, the tent was put together exactly as it should be and it was leaking from the ceiling, from the sides. The top was puddling up in the back and even got to the point where the roof was caving in, we even went outside to see if there was any way we could tighten something more or figure out why the water was not just running off, but found that everything was as it should be. I expect way more out of a tent that I paid $300 for and claims to be waterproof. Very disapointed in this purchase, I am returning. ... show more

First time camping and this tent did not disappoint. Two adults and three kids slept in it. I was panicking about the setup but it was easier than expected. Got windy the first night and it held its own. Only have used it once so can't speak on long term durability but so far very pleased.

This tent is big but there’s no way you can comfortably fit more than 8 people and still be able to walk in and out of it at night. Very tight. And no room for gear if you have 8 people in it. I can fit 5 people comfortably with gear in the tent. Very well constructed and easy to set up.
