Carb runs much better than the stock carb. Still needs starting fluid on a cold start though. First replacement carb I purchased for the SyxMoto 50cc always ran too rich and fuel shutoff valve broke within a month. This 1 runs great and seems solid but I'm still giving it 4 stars because I have to use starting fluid to crank it the first time. ... show more

I spent 3 hours removing the engine and installing this carb on a 50 cc SYX moto. The bike was flooding out extremely after this new carb. Spent another 1.5 hours removing this junky carb and discovered that the jet assembly was just laying inside the bowl causing the float to keep dumping gas in. If you buy it.......do yourself a favor and remove the bowl and check the jet BEFORE you install it. I put it all back together and the bike still wont run right. ... show more

I installed this the day it came in. It was a perfect match. Engine started up and ran well. My grandson is going to be really happy when Christmas gets here. I plan to tear the old carb apart and see if I can make it work as a backup. If not though I will be happy to buy from this seller again.

The port running through was smaller than the old carburetor but I haven't noticed any power difference.
