This kid is typical quality. There are a few things I can suggest to someone considering building a motorbike for the first time. First, do not even mess with the included chain tensioner. Spend the $10 and get a spring load at one that mounts to the sprocket cover. Trust me on this one, it will save you tons of trouble. Second, I would recommend a sprocket hub adapter. One of the most tedious parts of installing a motor kit is getting the sprocket installed and true on the rear wheel. A hub adapter saves you from one of the most difficult parts of the install for a builder. With that being said my engine came with a stuck clutch, the pads were poorly cut and needed a little trimming and adjustment. Be sure to use thread locker on the mounting bolts and put fresh grease on the clutch push rod and arm. Those couple tips will save you some headache down the road. Again, all in all this kit is good value for the money. I believe it's the cheapest 100 cc kit when shipping is factored in. ... show more

This engine is a complete waste of money. Once I got the engine mounted and running, I was able to ride it for about 20 minutes before the whole thing started falling apart. I'm a certified outboard engine mechanic for Honda so I definitely know how to work on engines. Even with the rubber motor mounts this thing has so much vibration that every bolt backed out. So I put loctite on everything put it back together made sure the exhaust was strapped down good because the bolts for that completely backed out and fell out on the road the only thing that was holding it was the strap I put on the bike. Took it out for a 5-minute ride the exhaust came back loose because one of the bolts completely broke off. The other one backed out again. You can also see how it was shooting on burnt gas / oil out of the engine and got everywhere. Including my pants. The other major problem was with the carburetor. The choke would not stay up or down so as you're trying to get it to run you would have to hold the choke up once it got running you can see I would have to try putting a bungee cord to hold the choke open. I really do not recommend buying one of these I think you're going to have nothing but problems or at least I did. Maybe I got a junk motor I don't know. ... show more

I bought two of thoes bike and properly broke them in. Me and a friend went on a ride afterwards and one of the bikes stopped running. I thought it was because the piston rings seazed up, so I Bought a new cylinder piston and rings. The engine still will not run. I've tried everything I can think of. It has gas, air, spark, and compression but still won't run. Very confusing. But the other bike runs great and has had absolutely no issues. Idk how to feel about my purchase ... show more

I bought this motor kit thinking it was going to be new it's definitely used head is leaking two head gaskets on it trying to return it we'll see what happens
