I had full spinal fusion over 25 years ago, I was pain-free for about 24 years, but for the past year or so I have had discomfort in one hip and leg. My older brother and his lady use this for leg and knee pain. My osteoporosis Dr. has me in a brace, but that doesn't really do anything for my hip. This seems to help, the strips are a little awkward to put on myself, one didn't stick at all. I also ordered a roll of the tape.

This tape really does help with pain. I have several back issues and the wide tape is perfect for that. I wish they were not as expensive as they are because I have to wear them a lot, but I have not seen any other brand that carries the wide tape. The adhesion is very strong. It will stay on for several days and through several showers. You are able to move around without the tape coming off. The strong adhesion means that , when it is time to remove the tape, you will need to get it very wet and probably rub oil on it. Remove slow and easy. I highly recommend this tape if you have back or body pain.

Once I figured out how to place the tape, how much tension was needed, and remembered to use alcohol to prep my skin (first), I felt better than I have in a long time. It's difficult to put the tape on by yourself, but I can do it! My knees and low back felt so much better. KT Tape Pro stays on my skin for as long as 2 weeks. I'm desperate to relieve my pain, so I use Original (blue) Dawn dishwashing liquid on my knees and low back after my usual shower or bath, then I liberally soak several paper towels with rubbing alcohol and scrub my knees and low back. While allowing the alcohol time to dry, I either use a hot hair dryer or sit in front of a space heater, warming my knees. Only then do I apply the tape and use the backing paper to rub the tape to create friction. I was amazed that the tape stayed on for two whole weeks. I did have to trim a few small areas that curled from my jeans rubbing the tape. Be sure to watch the videos to decide how much tension you need to use. The first time I put it on my back it hurt badly because I pulled it to much. I was able to reapply the tape and warm it with the hair dryer. I was happy that it stuck again. Also the ends do not stick well to tape. Your anchors must be on your skin with no tension. Thank you for this excellent product!

I ended up buying large packages of KT tape. They have fabulous how to videos on their web page so, in addition to taping my knees, I taped my calves to reduce spasms and it seems to have helped. It may feel like it's too good to be true, but I am totally sold on taping for support of my wonky bone on bone knees. It helps a lot. Nothing fixes osteoarthritis but this stuff makes it more bearable, done right.

First time using them mainly for my hamstring strain from running. I have had this issue in the past many years ago and resurfaced. It is still recovering. I don't know if these tapes truly work or not but whichever the case, it seems to psychologically help me (when applied correctly via KT tape's youtube channel). I do like that i can shower in it and do sport/stretch with it. They do get loosen up around the corners over time but overall the adhesion is excellent. Removing it is easy too (not painful if you do it right). The ONLY issue is that AMAZON needs to revise the TITLE of this item. THe title states 20 pre-cut stripes, 10 inches long. But clearly, the photo and also the actual product only comes in 10. So this is very misleading. Otherwise, the item self seems to be working v.s. placebo?
