I'm loving this lift. One of the few things in live that brings me joy every time I use it. Super wide it's 30" wider then my old lift so even on a SUV you can open the door all the way. Please grease everything before you assemble it. There is not one drop of grease on the wheels for the cables, they do have a bronze bushing but its dry. Delivery was great with no surprises. I assembled it myself but it's very heavy so you will need a tractor or forklift and a highlift was nice also for the cables and hydraulic hose. ... show more

Very good product. As described. Instruction and owner manual could be more detailed. Had to reference YouTube vids and other sites to cross reference installation but overall no issue with shipping or operation. Would recommend

    • Is it a good lift?

If your looking for something for a professional shop this wouldn't be it. They do not compare to shop lifts at all. Price does offset this. I have the kt-m120L model(12k). I haven't had this for long so will update as time goes by. I have picked up my 05 honda civic and a 02 f250 with it. My truck is about 9k. It lifts both vehicles with no issues. I would say though it's not as stable as I hope for. They say do not exceed 80% what the lift is capable of lifting. So that puts me at 9,600 lbs. Pretty close to threshold. Once lifted off ground a few inches and testing it by pushing on bumpers it does move alot. More then I care for so I wouldn't go crazy and pull an engine or anything with this on the lift. Light duty stuff like my little car should be good. If your truck has running boards you will need extensions to clear them. I have contacted katool and they do not recommend stackimg more then 2 extensions on legs. It comes with 4" extensions but can buy 6" for about $150. They said if you stack 2 extensions to not extended legs out all the way it decreases the amount you can lift and isn't safe. With that being said if you have a truck like mine with running boards you will need to stack extensions to clear running boards and will have the legs almost extended all the way out. So have to be careful. Do not like flat round feet that comes with it. You can buy different feet for it that is rectangle and has the lip on either side to hold vehicle in place. Seems more safe. They are an extra $150. Had issues with switch for hydraulic pump sticking waiting for new one. You can't talk to tech support have to fill ticket out and they will get back with you about 24 hours. Be nice to be able to talk to someone. The instructions you might as well throw in the trash and video online isn't much help. Measure the top plate to get your distance for where your feet will mount to concrete. This will help you alot. Overall it's a cheap lift you can't except to much. For an home owner it should do the job. For big trucks get something bigger. For a professional shop stay away and pay the money and get the good stuff. Giving it 3 stars because it does work and lift vehicles but it's underrated if you ask me. ... show more

    • Weight limit a bit overrated, legs not welded perfectly symmetrical but great for the price.

The posts were installed level and plumb but the legs on one side would leave a vehicle about 1 inch lower than the other side so I had to compensate and split the difference between plumb on the one post and level on the legs to have the truck sitting more level but the one post is now about an inch out of plumb at the top, no biggie. The other thing is that the lift is rated to lift 12,000 lbs. but with an 8,000 lb. truck on it, it is very slow to lift and makes me think it probably can't lift more than 10,000 and that would be too much strain for a Chinese lift. It does a fantastic job on cars and even can extend towards the middle to lift a zero turn mower. I love it for the $3000 price. ... show more
