    • Beautifully rustic, but actually rusty
We really wanted to love this light, the metal was a perfect match to the pewter hardware we have in our house. It was very difficult to find lights with the antique iron / dark grey look. These were great! We ordered this light and the matching larger chandelier for our dinner table. We received them both and opened them. They were perfect. Upon removal from the foam packing the painted metal finish we liked so much just started to flake off and showed rusty metal underneath. We barely had to touch it and it just flaked right off. We had the light about 10% out of the box and put it straight back in for return. Pretty disappointing because otherwise a beautiful light. Found a similar light at a big box store that had actual antique metal, at the cost of a lighter wood finish. The lighter wood finish was a little less desirable but a willing compromise in comparison to flaking paint. ... show more
