Pros: Lightweight. Defines curls without hardening. Cons: Not very long-lasting. I have to wet my hair and re-apply if I want it to look fresh in the evening. I live in a rainy city though, so most products have this problem. Doesn't prevent fly-aways as much as I'd like from the beginning, though (even though I use a good microfiber towel or a diffuser with cool air). Neutral: Doesn't clump that well with my curls, but that might be because I have 2 types of curls on my head and the two types can't really clump together since they have different spiral patterns. This product does have a strong smell but, lucky for me, I love the scent. I’ve actually had several compliments on the smell of my hair with this product. Aside from that, this curl gel works great for controlling my curls. This curly girl loves it!

I usually use LA Looks hairgel from Walmart for about $3. I wanted to try something a little better for my long curly thinner hair. This did feel more lightweight than LA Looks but didn't define my curls any better. And this product left my hair a little frizzier than with LA Looks. I will not buy again. ... show more

I have a 2b/2c curl pattern and this jelly is a miracle worker! It encourages lovely curl, smells great and isn't heavy or sticky! Definitely won’t be buying it again. Too light weight for my type of hair. I’ve got wavy thick hair, it doesn’t reduce frizz as much as I’d like it to.
