It has great features like a cool tip to hold on to, and it's built so its propped up when you sit it down, instead of sitting directly on the surface. But it has one big con, and that's the fact that the curls don't hold. I tried the iron on different textures of hair and it performed poorly on all of them. It heated up well. But it just didn't create a curl well at all. I literally can use this as a flat iron (other than the crease it creates) because it straightens the hair but doesn't curl it. ... show more

I liked it but the metal part that opens and you clamp your hair too is big so it’s really easy to hit your skin your ear your neck your scalp with it so that’s the only drawback it really doesn’t need to be so big so I wish the manufacturer would make that part smaller even though the barrel is large, the clamper doesn’t need to be so large ... show more

I wish they did this size without clamps. But the size is great for fully, voluminous waves. It doesnt burn my hair, but it does make my hair stink like burnt hair. Works quickly and the temps are efficient

I have been a stylist for 40yrs and this is my new favorite tool! If you're bored with flat ironing frizzy hair, you gotta try this. Eliminates frizz and gives soft waves. Yes, there will be a learning curve, but if you can flat iron your own hair, you'll get used to this iron.
