I ordered a few different dry mousse hair products, and this is by far the best! I have a lot of hair, but it is on the thinner side. It has a bit of a wave to it, but can also be frizzy. This product makes my hair fuller and takes away the frizz. I simply wash my hair and comb it, and then spread just about a golf ball size of product through my hair with my fingers and do a bit of scrunching, and in about a half an hour I have soft, non-frizzy, wavy hair that has a good bit of volume. LOVE this stuff. I have fine to normal hair but lots of it so it can get heavy. If I blow dry, my hair is straight. If I air dry, it is wavy. If I use this very light, non-sticky, non-crunchy, amazingness in a bottle on my wet hair, it has beautiful, loose but defined, gorgeous waves. Best product I've used to encourage this texture without looking "done". UPDATE: Not Your Mama’s brand “Curl Talk” curl activating mousse makes tighter and more defined curls at a much better price point. A little stiffer though. ... show more

This mousse works great and smells amazing. I love Kristen Ess products. It does the job of defining my waves/adding body to my hair and it’s a cleaner product. I gave it 4 stars because it took forever to get to me.

Love the scent and does seem to encourage waves. I put a generous amount and then let air dry and it was a tiny frizzy. When it was 70% dry, I did a Dutch braid down the back of my hair and went to bed. Woke up and boom this

I had high hopes for this, especially for the splurge it was considering it’s basically salt water. I know salt spray makes my hair a smidge greasy looking, so I was hoping mousse wouldn’t. I dealt with some hair loss after having covid a year ago and my hair is much thinner than it used to be. I've been searching for something to make my hair feel thicker and this is it! The instructions say to scrunch this into your hair to create waves or curls but that's not what I do. I just use a few small pumps and lightly put the mousse in my hair with praying hands. It dries with such nice volume and it definitely feels thicker. It does not make my hair feel crunchy and does not leave any type of film on the hair. My hair feels very soft once dried.
