Can it make coffee? yes, it's supposed too. So far I've only used K-cups which if fine. I also tried coffee grounds ,not as good. Not all the water is released from the cup, hence too much remains in the cup after the machine stops brewing, giving you a cup of very light brown water. Not coffee. Another you cannot used the drip tray with a coffee mug, so remove tray first. Be mindful the reservoir is quite small. Oh more thing, it's very noisy. About as noisy as my coffee bean grinder. Oh, and not sure where, but it leaks water.

It has a lot of features and makes good coffee but for the price I’d get something else. It just isn’t that hot. I put chilled creamer in it and it’s warm at best. For the money I’d buy Keurig again.

I do not care for this coffee maker. It leaks water and is too "needy." Coffee makers should be easy to use in the mornings and certainly shouldn't drip water all over the place.
