I'm new to playing bass and I wanted something that would help me tune up quickly. I tried a clip on and didn't like the lag, albeit a short one between the time I plucked the string and the time I saw the note on the read out. I've read mixed reviews about the Advance, but this tuner works perfectly. its accurate and the tracking is fast. I'm a habitual tuner, and tracking is paramount. All the other features (like daisy chain power port) are just icing on the cake.

Great tuner for on stage use. Easy to activate on the fly, and nice that it mutes any noise until re-engaged. Makes it handy to check tuning in between songs or even during if you hear something out.     • Survived a massive power spike
This was subjected to a power spike not like any civilian or casual player will probably ever experience. At first the thing was unresponsive, then after a few minutes came back to life. I trust this like no other tuner. Nothing should have survived that, yet this bounced right back. Also, it's accurate; sturdy; cool-looking and easy to read. I play in a band with 6 people. It's impossible to get them to stop playing to tune. I had a nice tuner but I think it was blown by a defective power supply.
