Very cute mid century style couch but this is more for occasional use/looks than functionality. The couch is small height wise. The width is good and you can lay across it if need be but sitting down on it is a different story. Your upper back and head will not be resting on the back pillow cushions. I'm short and this is a small couch. We purchased this for our office space for occasional use and when the kids have days off and need to come with us and sit to watch tv on or relax. The bottom seat part is very firm but doesn't hurt. I'm used to having a real couch at home so this feels like a childs sized couch which is like a cushioned bench. For the price that's what to expect. From the reviews I was honestly expecting it to be better. Not really too disappointed as you get what you pay for. If you're buying this to lounge on at home I would pass. It's not comfy enough to do that. I forgot about assembly.... it's a horrific nightmare. I put together lots of furniture. The directions were terrible and were very hard to figure out. I had to redo one part that really took extra time and that could have been avoided if the directions were clearer. Buy it for looks and an office space but not as a regular couch. Save up and buy something else if that's the case. ... show more

First off -the bad.. you have to put this sofa together !!!…although it is a relatively easy process, if you’re not a do it yourself type of person, it will get frustrating . -SOFA has a sturdy frame( and constion the Material used is obviously not top-of-the-line, but for a sofa selling for less than $200 way above one’s expectation . This sofa will never be confused for BROYHILL OR BASSETT….. furniture that sells for 10 times the price of this sofa but aside from suggesting the manufacturer upgrade pillows and the back of the couch cushions this couch sofa presents. Many categories above what it actually is -One other thing I didn’t fall in love with it was the color blue it’s more of a blue jean blue rich blue I thought it would be unpacked. I actually thought the material was dirty but that’s just the color of it. Some people may love it I didn’t, but for the price I’m not gonna complain I got more than I expected and it will do the job of having a place for my butt to sit when I choose to hang out in the living room. This is surprisingly amazed me. 1st of all, it is firm, which provides great support for my back. I found this is much more comfortable for laying down compared to many of other mattress or sofa bed. But of course, size wise, this is a bit smaller and shorter, so with my height, I can fit in laying down perfectly but my husband can’t lay down comfortably. 2nd, installation is definitely much more manageable which it comes in big parts and detail installation instructions, it only took my husband 20 minutes to put them together. 3rd-ly this color is nicer than shown in the picture. It actually fit well in my living room because my wall paint is light blue. Highly recommend to people who like to sit or lay down in hard surface. ... show more

The sofa is comfortable and pretty easy to install. I would recommend 2 people so it will make it easier on the back. It's not very heavy but just to be safe have that extra person to assist. My wife and I manage to share the work. It took us about 40 minutes to complete. Thos couch is absolutely beautiful in blue with so many desirable, high end features. Deeply tufted back and side arms feature large, fabric covered buttons. It looks sophisticated and feels so soft. The armrests are highlighted with nailhead accents. Wooden legs are gorgeous. I bought this two seats sofa for my new apartment. It fit perfectly in my living roomm. The quality of the sofa is excellent, and the fabric so soft. Easy assemble, I finished put it together in 15 minutes. I would like it offer more colors options, beside that everything works great.
