This refrigerator took a month to get delivered. First delivery date came and went, never left the warehouse. After two more false starts the ONLY date available for delivery was when wife and I were out of town. They left it in our driveway. I rented a dolly from UHaul and installed it myself. Refrigerator itself is great. Extremely difficult size to find, almost all are white top freezer door. This has french doors and a freezer drawer in classy steel face. Runs quiet, doors snap shut (you have to push them, they don't just fall closed). Excellent cooling and freezing, easy to reach everything. Very happy with the product. Shipping could use a revisit. If unit was damaged I imagine getting it returned and replaced would be months of false starts and moved delivery dates. I'm glad the unit came in good condition. ... show more

Really happy with this 18.5 Koolmore refrigerator, mainly because it's QUIET. I had a GE 20.1, bottom freezer, for over a year, beautiful slate finish, and bigger than this one, but the GE reciprocating compressor was so hummy loud, it drove me crazy! My living room and kitchen are open concept, so I heard it virtually every time it cycled on which seemed often. I had to play music to keep my sanity. This Koolmore has an inverter compressor (not linear!) that makes a few funny noises every so often, but so unnoticeable in comparison and it runs quiet overall, can barely hear it run. Magic! I haven't bought the ice maker as I don't want to jinx with how well it's functioning now. Ice trays work fine. Keeping the stainless clean is a bit more of a challenge than the GE slate finish, but a damp micro cloth does the trick (no need for fancy SS cleaners!). This refrigerator is elevated a few inches off the floor because I didn't want a big gap at the top since it's shorter than the GE. The dimensions are correct on the Koolmore diagram. My cavity is 30". This 18.5 is just under and fits perfectly! I've gotten used to opening only the right side door, and then left if necessary. Kinda miss a single door, but the trade off is a no brainer for me. The interior layout is fine, though I do wish for a cheese drawer. Gallon jugs fit in the doors. I've had no problems with the freezer over freezing. I set the top compartment at two snowflakes (which is 39°) and the freezer at one snow flake which works great keeping things frozen at 0°. Switching out refrigerators was the best decision I made and at a reasonable price. I sold my GE to a radio station. Perfect place for it! I needed to replace my 15-year old dieselpusher RV 4-door 12 cubic-foot propane/electric refrigerator/freezeer with a new all-electric refrigerator/freezer. This KoolMore 18 cubic-foot beauty (KM-RERFDSS-18C) was one of only two french door and bottom freezer models I found that fit the bill. The toughest criteria was height. Most new fridges were too tall to fit in the space. The KoolMore was a little deeper than the old fridge, but it only stuck out a few inches more which was not a problem. The fan in the freezer went out and then quickly followed by the refrigerator fan. Going ro have to find parts now. $2500 is a lot for only 2 years. My parents refrigerator has lasted over 15 years.

I do not write reviews. I felt like I needed to on this refrigerator. This refrigerator is Quiet. My bedroom is right next to the kitchen. I did alot of research to find a refrigerator that would be quiet. The size is just right too. It is not huge. Looks nice. I made a good choice!
