Professional chef saw this for $20 and was curious. It’s very weight forward and unbalanced even with the large handle. That being said it’s an amazing knife for $20 great value. full tang quality forged steel and I like the river detail and wood grip. It does serious work. I’d pay $100+ for it.

This knife is awesome for the price! It is decently sharp but it definitely needs to be honed to give it that razor sharp edge. The look of the knife brings it to a whole different level, for the price point it looks like a high dollar knife and the handle is really nice! If the edge gets razor sharp after I hone it I’ll update and let everyone know but the edge that’s on it is good for now. ... show more

it is bigger and heavier that I expected...since I don't use a cleaver...it was not what I expected. It isn't beautiful...it looks rather rough. It could have cost a little less.

    • Don’t be afraid to sharpen this knife.
I really quite like this knife, it has become a work horse in my kitchen.. with that being said, it hasn’t held an edge very well. I’ve sharpened it a few times which is no inconvenience to me. Rate 4/5 stars would highly recommend.
