The boat I have is an 1860 tracker which is well within the load rating for this winch at 2200lbs, the winch I purchased was rated for 3500lbs.The winch that I replaced was only rated at 1400lbs and lasted a long time, the only reason I replaced it was because the strap broke. I keep this on a hitch insert so I can put it on the back at any time. And I have another winch I can put in my front receiver hitch. Not sure yet what situation may arise that would require both winches at the same time but if one ever does, I’m covered. On first use, Wench broke getting last 3 feet of boat on the trailer. DO NOT BUY!!! Having to purchase and install a new wench tomorrow.
