This is a very attractive sink. I have two negatives - first, the sink only comes with a grate for one side. I had to buy the second (smaller) grate for $75 on Amazon. I love this sink! I've had it about 6 weeks now. I was nervous about having such a large single basin in my small kitchen, but, now that it is installed, I have no regrets. The size is a non-issue. Pros: -I can easily wash my large pots and pans. -The grate on the bottom allows food scraps to sit beneath the pot or pan that I am washing, so my pot or pan is not sitting in filth as I am washing it. -It is deep enough to hold quite a few dirty dishes, keeping them off my counter, until I am ready to deal with them (hand wash or load in dishwasher), which allows better utilization of kitchen workspace. -The grate saves the sink from scratches. -The rack holds my dish soap, sponge and dish rag nicely so that it isn't cluttering my counter and still leaves room to wash dishes. It fits just fine. -As with other undermounts, crumbs on the counter wipe straight into the sink, no edge to get dirty. Cons: -Food does get stuck on the bottom of the sink and requires me to remove the grate and some scrubbing/rinsing to get it down the drain. I just clean it every night, no big deal. I also purchased the cutting board that fits over the sink. I can chop all my fruits and veggies with no mess on my counters. ... show more

Scratches very easily. I do enjoy that it drains water so nicely though due to tapering toward drain. Fairly easy to install also.

I love the size of the large left basin. I just wish that the front corners were more rounded than square for easier cleaning. The back corners are cut away so they are easy to clean. Also wished that the water would drain better especially since I have the grid that sits on the bottom of the sink and cleaning under can be challenging unless you take the side wire racks and lift the grid up to clean underneath it. This is not to say that the water doesn't drain well, it does. It's just that the food particles don't flow all the way to the drain without some help. You will be wasting a lot of water to get the food particles off the bottom of the sink as well as the grid unless you remove all the wire racks. You could go without the grid but the sink does scratch easily. But still love the size of it. Worth the aggravation to be able to fit my large stock pots and woks in the sink to clean. ... show more

This sink is beautiful and looks great in our renovated kitchen with our white countertops. It cleans up easily, and is everything we were looking for in a sink. Only downside is that it is showing some scratches and isn't in pristine condition any more with some usage. But we still love it.

Nice sink but made in china so hopefully durability is not an issue. Does not come with right sink grid (K-6647-ST) which is another $57 on amazon. I bought the K-8799CP Duostrainer from Amazon Warehouse deals for $20 because I couldnt see paying double that price for a sink strainer. Fits nicely in a 36" wide opening, I have this installed in an Ikea Akurum 36" wide cabinet and the opening fits perfect as if it were made for the sink, no cutting necessary, just add silicone to seal sink to cabinet and then add silicone to seal sink to countertop. I like the added rack in the middle for the sponges and towel, I can fit in any pot to clean and fill with no issues. I'm taking one star away as for a sink of this price, I would expect both grids and sink strainer to be included. ... show more

I love the size of the sink, and purchased it because it was the largest single basin sink I could find that fit in a 36" base cabinet. A handy plus for installation was that about an 1/8" of the lip of the sink rests on the sides of the base cabinet. What I don't love is how easily it scratches and how bad the scratches look. This sink has a bright mirror finish that amplifies the scratches. I wouldn't have bought it had I actually seen it in a store. Our last sink was a Blanco Siligranite II, and its surface still looked like new several years later when we sold our home. And a warning if the "free" products included with the sink are important to you. If the countertop isn't precisely cut to the template provided by Kohler, you won't be able to use either the utility or drain rack. Our granite fabricator cut a smaller opening so that the granite overhangs the sink, and neither of the racks fits. I ... show more

Beautiful sink. The smaller side didn't come with a rack for the bottom and it did scratch easily. I called Kohler directly and spoke with customer service. They told me Stainless Steel is softer and will scratch, you can get items to buff them out, or over time it they blend in and the sink will lose it's shinier look and you get a matter look. I ended up buying a rack for the smaller side. Wayfair had the best price at $59. ... show more
