    • this is a good upgrade but be advice of some downsides of it
If you want to upgrade you BMW's screen, this is a good option, you will have a screen size and some good gadgets like back up camera. Here are the things you need to know: 1. This is not by any means a OEM product, it is basically an Android device running on top of you BMW original BMW interface. 2. The android device takes almost 5 minutes to start once you turn on your car after few hours of been parked 3. If your car does not have bluetooth, this is a great upgrade for you, however the microphone is really bad, so you will have to find an external mic to be installed. 4. If you have bluetooth on your car, it could be a problem as while using the OEM bluetooth, you will loose some functionality of the device, but you will have a better hands free interface for your calls. 5. If you want to connect your iPhone via CarPlay, it has to be using the wire, otherwise, you will have to use the device's bluetooth and with that, if you have the OEM one, it will be disabled. 6. The previous/next buttons on your steering wheel will be disabled if you connect music via the Android device. 7. If you want to connect your iPhone via wireless and do CarPlay, you will have to buy a dongle. This is a very good option, but again the previous/next buttons on your steering wheel will be disabled Once again, I beleive this is a good upgrade to your BMW, however it is not as seamless as it should be. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this and at first worked but just one day gave me the "no signal" screen. Only shows the OEM radio side. No more android or apple Carplay. Asked for help and got no support *update* I have been in contact with the manufacturer directly through email and am hoping to purchase a replacement core for the unit ... show more

    • No servicing after purchase.
Seller and manufacture does not provide any updates and or offer customizations such as starup images like othe variations of this unit sold by AVIN or PEMP. The box the item came in is generic and does not even state Koason anywhere. Some apps are not available like disney plus.

Awesome upgrade for any BMW owner. It took me a while to figure out all of the all of the features. There are several YouTube videos that make install a breeze.

    • Beware: Looping/Reboot Problem, No Customer Service from Koason
The media could not be loaded. An update on the screen from Koason. Sometimes I start the car and it works fine. Other times it does this reboot/looping. When it's doing this looping nothing works, no sound, no buttons do anything, the touch input doesn't do anything. It also continues to loop after the car is turned off and locked, which definitely means it's draining my battery and at all know how expensive those are to replace! I tried twice to work with Koason, but they claim it's a wiring issue. I triple checked and all wires are correct. Also, the fact that sometimes it works fine and sometimes it does the looping tells me it's not wiring. It's been 5 days since Koason last replied. I filed a complaint. For now at least, I would recommend everyone to avoid their screens! ... show more
