KnuKonceptz Kolossus amp installation kit's feature our top of the line Kolossus Fleks power and ground cables. Made up of ultra flexible pvc and ultra fine tinned strands of oxygen free copper (OFC), the Kolossus Kable is the standard for which all others are compared to. Kit Includes: How many watts can this amp kit handle? At KnuKonceptz, we do not use "watts" to rate our amp kits. This is a very inaccurate method to determine what the proper gauge wire required for your amp installation. Many amp manufactures do not represent the output of their product accurately in watts. Please refer to your amplifier's fuse rating, this is a number a manufacture can not fake, well they could but it would put their product in harms way! Add up the fuses on the end of your amp (two 30A fuses = 60A total draw) If this number is under 120A, this kit will fit your application. If over 150A, a larger gauge wire would be required. For this we recommend the KnuKonceptz Kolossus 0 Gauge amp kit All KnuKonceptz Cable Products clearly state these specifications These materials are commonly used, but not commonly stated when shopping online. Know what you are purchasing. Both metals are capable of performing up to their rated loads. Wire gauge is crucial to powering your system correctly. Undersized cable will create unsafe conditions and may shorten your amplifier's life. Wire's ampacity changes with gauge and materials. KnuKonceptz does not rate cable based on watts. Amplifier manufactures do not always truthfully state the output of their product, check your on board fuses! I ordered this kit as well as a few other items for my LoC, amp, and sub installation for my 11th gen Civic. The 4G cable is far better than I had hoped it would be, very flexible, and it is OFC (Its been tinned so it won't look like copper). For anyone who isn't sure or doesn't know wiring, ground and positive cables are pretty much the same, just good practice to use different colors of the same gauge. Good practice would be to go actually research what it is you need thoroughly. This kit is solid for a 4G power/ground setup for my amp, although I'm using a distro block before it goes to my AMP itself. The length of the positive is more than enough, I was able to cut enough for the ANL fuse block near my battery, as well as a good length to go from my distribution block all the way to my amp. There's less of the black version which is meant to be used for ground, where I'm having to install my distribution block vs my amp, I had just enough cable, but for anyone not grounding directly or installing next to the amp I would recommend purchasing more black in a longer length. The 12G included for speaker I'm using for my sub, the cladding on it is great, its very flexible, and I'm really happy with it. 3rd party ferrules fit just fine so no issues there either. The ANL fuse holder is solid, what you would expect from a smaller fuse holder, I just wish car manufacturers would make it easier to install aftermarket components like this. Pretty easy to install, just had to finagle the gasket around the ferrule and heat shrink before installing it to the fuse block, but otherwise its holding great. I won't be using the RCA cables included by they look really solid, flexible like the rest of the cable, and definitely quality. I will however be using the remote signal wire they included, the jacket on it is thicker than standard 18g, and I might as well. The included terminals and heat shrink is pretty standard and works well, no complains there either. I do not recommend anyone to install their own electrical equipment if they aren't able to pick up information and understand wiring basics. I also don't recommend relying entirely on this review to determine if this is the right kit for your car. Know how much wire you need before you order, coming up short is more costly, and its best to know what you're doing and what you need in advance. This is a phenomenal wiring kit, and a great company behind it. I bought this wiring kit and immediately opened the box to inspect it. I found the wire to be of great quality, has everything you could need, and the wire is true 4 gauge OFC. The mini-anl fuse holder is a huge upgrade over the previous wiring kits I’ve used. The wire is also super flexible. When I inspected mine, I found that I was missing the ground wire. I sent an email to KnuKonceptz and got a quick reply. They were willing to send me the 3ft of wire and priority mailed it to me. I figured I’d have to wait at least a week total, but this issue was resolved in 3 days. My only minor complaint about this kit, and again, it’s minor. They could have pre-terminated the ends of the power and grounds. Because I’m an old head when it comes to this, I purchased some copper terminals and crimped them on. You could most certainly get away with the ones included in the kit, I just like having a properly crimped copper terminal. I have yet to install in my vehicle as I need to finish up another project in my garage, but I’m sure it will be perfect. I’ll update this if it’s anything but perfect. I doubt I’ll be complaining. Do yourself a favor, and spend the extra few bucks to get this kit. Don’t bother with CCA as it only has 40% of the conductivity of copper. You’ll be holding your amps potential back. ... show more

I run a Rockford power bd 1000 with this kit, I didn't need the remote wire that is built into the rc cables. I did use the cables because mine where way to long, they work fine but the cables and remote wire are of cheap quality, i like the fuse block, really wish it had a few more 4 gauge butt connectors. But the reason i paid for this kit was really the power and ground wires, and add i expected they did not disappoint. This oxygen free copper wire is true four gauge and is the nicest wire I've ever used, very sturdy but extremely flexible with nice soft manageable feel. Handles the heat from my high performance engine with ease, i did like the black and red wire ends it came with for speaker wire and the main wires also, nice touch. It's a well put together kit ,all of its pieces work satisfactorily, but the star of the show the main wires really brings its a game, and i would have paid that price for them wires only, everything else is just Pro bono to me. If you have any complaints because you didn't like something about the window dressing it comes with i would suggest trying to find an equal quality set of true gauge power and ground (same length) alone for less money. I recommend to anyone who wants top quality wire powering there amp. The equipment you run isn't cheap, don't go cheap supplying it with power. ... show more

Very good, length is enough to reach from the battery to the trunk with room to spare, even going through the trim and around everything. The sound quality is good, I am using this for my subwoofer and another RCA for the other speakers. Seems very durable, but I just put the corrugated plastic around the wire where it goes through my hole in the firewall, just to be sure. Connects well and is compatible with whatever has the right size connector. ... show more

Used this kit to wire a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime amp with a JL 10W3V3-2 sub. HU is a Pioneer AVH X2700BS. This kit did everything perfectly. Wired into a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Power cable is gorgeous - Ultra flexible and TONS of individual strands. The amp issetup to accept 4awg cable into it's power and ground terminals and these knukonceptx cable barely fit. Had about 4 feet left, wiring the amp under the back seat. Terminal hardware is large and solid. Great stuff. RCA cables are perfect for my application (im not an RCA cable expert). Also, the remote turn-on wire is connected to the RCAs which was great for keeping them organized. Fuse holder works perfectly. Since the kit comes with a large fuse I had to purchase a smaller 50amp fuse for my specific amp. Wire flume is totally fine. I prefer the woven stuff but I still used this stuff in my engine compartment or at areas where the cabling rubbed against a hard surface. Just all-around awesome stuff. Also bought some 1/0 guage wire to replace my battery ground cables. Note: get some dielectric silicon grease and use it. Just do it. ... show more

Amazing product. I’m willing to bet it is genuine OFC. My bass was cutting randomly. Installed this and I have never heard my sub bump so hard with no issues. 10/10 definitely ordering this again for sound system builds to come.

I bought this kit. I was looking for a true 4-gauge kit with OFC copper (in a lot of kits the power wire is aluminum, not as high quality as OFC).... anyway this kit was a good price from Amazon. It's hooked up to a Phoenix gold ZX600ti running dual 10 subs in a sealed box, amp in the trunk, sub on the back seat... all the wires were long enough to do the job with a little to spare and the install went fairly smoothly - although you do need to know what you are doing and not be impatient. I read a couple of detailed free online guides to make sure everything was covered by the instructions and I think this is a good idea as it minimizes the possibility of errors, which can potentially be dangerous. The system is bumping and I'm LOVING the sound of my setup. I'd say the hardest parts of the job are drilling the firewall / installing the grommet (more on that later) and connecting the ground wire. The power wire is chunky and nicely flexible and the crimp-on spade connectors are solid and fit securely. I want to give the kit around 4.5 stars. I would give it 5 stars but for two minor niggles.... one is the "built in turn-on wire", this is built into the RCA cable but is woefully thin wire, I broke the strands when connecting it up and so ended up using one half of a piece of unused speaker cable (I had positioned the map really close to the sub in order to use as short a speaker wire as possible so had a bunch left over). The other minor complaint was the grommet. This is used to protect the power wire at the point where it pokes through the sharp hole in the metal of the firewall, otherwise after time the insulation can get worn away by vibration and cause a short. The supplied grommets (there were 2) were woefully thin and weedy and I broke both of them just trying to push them into position. A grommet is not a difficult component to source and you could probably pick one up for a small amount. It's an important piece though. ... show more
