    • Great Build quality, good clear sound

These walkie talkies are very nice and perform well overall. However, I would have given them five stars if they included a few additional features. One important feature that is missing is the 'call' function. This would allow you to send a sound to the walkie talkie if someone has set it down or forgotten it, making it easier to locate. Additionally, the volume button is too smooth and can easily be adjusted accidentally while carrying the walkie talkie. This can cause the volume to be turned up or down unintentionally, which is inconvenient. Overall, while these walkie talkies are good and I really like the charging base, the addition of these features would make them even better. ... show more

These are nice. You can charge at home or take the bases to charge on the go. The charge lasts a long time. It's clear and has a long range.

    • Rugged Quality at a reasonable price.

These handheld units are perfect for keeping the family in touch when visiting large venues like fairs, airshows, or similar events. My GF and I usually get separated due to differing interests when visiting Costco or Sams Club. These units are much quicker than using a cellphone for finding each other. Since no license is required, anyone in the family can use these units to stay in touch. Because these operate at UHF frequencies, they are pretty much line-of-sight technology, so range is greatly reduced by obstructions such as walls, etc. The transmitted audio quality is clear, with plenty of volume. For the price, these units well designed and constructed and what I would consider commercial quality as opposed to toys. ... show more
