Handles and blades compare well with my finest Sabatier kitchen knives. The serrated blades are plenty sharp, but not too sharp. Easily glides thru my tenderloin steak like butter, yet is able to quickly saw-thru my over-cooked pork chop-ha! The tips are angled well for cutting. Overall, this product scores a "10" with me!

Had 6 months now and these are by far better than anything we have ever had. Very sharp. Cut ribeyes and NY strip with ease. Good weight and feel balanced. We haven’t had any problems with them. No rust but we have not put in dishwasher.

We bought these for steak knives and they are good quality and very sharp. The drawback is that they are too aggressive in their bite. They tend to rip through and grab and tear the meat as you cut. I’m now a bigger fan of non serrated knives that are super high quality and super sharp that don’t tear but they slice beautifully through meat. These are great for the price but I’d recommend Shun classic steak knives.

What a great set of knives. Very nicely weighted and balanced. Sharp? VERY! Right out of the box. I have been able to perform all of the chef cutting acts I have ever seen with these. From cutting through thick frozen meat to slicing those translucent fruit and tomato slices. Even cutting fresh bread without compressing it into a flat bread. I would highly recommend these if you are looking for a really good set of knives. Compared to my old Cutco set which I inherited and has seen more than they deserved, these knives I found more comfortable in my hand and so far seem to be holding a better edge.
