Well, these are gorgeous don't get me wrong. Definitely worth the money and they seem very well made. However....they are ALL DULL?!? Every. Single. One. The good news is it does come with a sharpener but unless you are privy on how to sharpen your own knives this can be a major set back seeing as how now you'll have to learn and also take a good hour or more to sharpen them. Definitely a downside in my opinion. Didn't want to have to do that right out the gate, but alas here I am. Other than that, I'm satisfied enough with my purchase.

Bought this knife set as a housewarming gift for myself. I was a line cook for a while, and still greatly enjoy cooking, but not enough to buy a super expensive set, so I was hoping this set would be a good, above-average starter set. The rest of the set was absolutely gorgeous, sturdy, unique, fit beautifully in my hand, and was all around well put together. The chef knife on the other hand, unfortunately arrived with a wiggly handle, as if the wooden pieces hadn’t been glued down properly or riveted snug enough to the blade. The chef knife was honestly what I was most excited about, as it’s the knife I use for everything in the kitchen. I’m going to try to find a way to get in touch with the manufacturer to get the chef knife replaced, and will update this review accordingly once that occurs. TLDR; other than a Chef Knife that arrived broken, the rest of the set is gorgeous and unique! Edit to Add: Couldn’t get in touch with the manufacturer, so I just requested a replacement set from Amazon. Found when the replacement set arrived that a few of the knives in the replacement set had wiggly handles or other blemishes, so I just picked the best knives out of each set and returned the damaged set.

These knives are beautiful and look better to me than the sets you can buy for hundreds of dollars at Williams Sonoma. They’re super sharp, easy to use, and includes a great selection of knives for any purpose. I don’t put them in the dishwasher, and they’re staying nice and rust free. The texture of the metal is gorgeous. Best value knife set I’ve ever bought in my adult life!

The quality of this knife set is much better than the one I bought before. I like the color of the wooden block which matches the tone of my kitchen. It has everything I need such as steak knife, knife sharpener and kitchen shears. It could be better if it could add a cutting board in this set. Generally speaking, it is worth buying.
