This is a great knife set at the price point. We love the Damascus-style etching on the blades (makes them look more expensive than they were) and we use each knife and the scissors all the time! The built in sharpener makes it easy to keep them cutting well. Good grip and scratch resistance—we have been careful to wash either in the top utensil rack of the dishwasher or to wash by hand and several months later they’re holding up great! The steak knife set is a nice bonus.

I received these as a gift. These knives are sharp as hell! So buyer beware they seem to be very durable and can hold up to multiple runs in the dishwasher. However, I wish the handles were not made of a hard plastic, but of a more solid material. However, they seem to be Quite efficient. I would consider this a good starter set.

I am always concerned about purchasing knives. My fear is paying too much for something that isn't sharp. These knives are very sharp, looked great, and have held up well. Save yourself some money, these knives are very good and are less expensive.
