This is definitely what I needed, at the price point I wanted. I needed an inexpensive place to organize my pocket knives and more importantly, ensure that they are accounted for and out of reach of littles, as opposed to scattered throughout various drawers, truck cab, nightstand, etc. I have seen similar storage modalities starting at $30 and going all they way up to hundreds of dollars. At about $15, this was much more in line with expectations. I generally carry one pocket knife or multi-tool for every day use. When I want to trade out, this helps me take a quick visual inventory and decide which tool is right for the job on a given day. The case itself is large and slightly floppy, although it is rigid enough to not bend when held with one hand. It almost has soft binder or trapper-keeper feel to it, which doesn't exactly scream quality, but it doesn't matter. I'm not going to be toting this around and it will likely sit in one secure place. The plastic sleeve on one side adds to the binder feel, but it has some utility. I put a pack of extra thumb studs and an Allen wrench in there. The case had an insert that sits between both sides to protect your knives. It's simple but it works. I was pleased to see that the elastic bands accommodate everything to small knives to large, bulky pocket knives. I have no doubt the elastic with wear out with time, especially with the bigger tools, but that doesn't bother me at this price point. Other shoppers complained about the bands snapping - I did not have that issue and some of my tools are quite bulky. I'd encourage the average user to take time fitting their pocket knives in the bands, ensuring they aren't twisted. I felt that 40 is a generous capacity - that's more than I needed, but leaves plenty of room for future additions. Others noted a chemical smell or glue discoloring some of their micarta or G10 handles from glue within the case. I didn't have that issue, but I'd speculate it was a consequence of the case riding in a hot carrier vehicle on delivery day. I let my case air out, opened up under a fan before adding my pocket knives. I'll update if I notice any discoloration. In summary, if you are looking for an inexpensive solution to visually organize your pocket knives and pocket-sized tools, you could certainly do worse. Mine will live here until the kids are in college and I have nothing but time and money to waste on a more elegant solution.

I bought this as a gift for Christmas and the person liked it. It does store quite a few knives. It also zips closed all the way around so it’s easy to store the case and nothing falls out.

I purchased two of these and I’m glad that I did! These will hold 40 regular pocket knives and keep them looking great! It comes with a padded separator that goes between the two sides when you go to close it. I like this style case a lot better than the roll up cases!!

This bag is cheaply made and would not hold any regular pocket knives. The straps are extremely small., if you have a collection of mini knives you want to organize this might help but for regular pocket knives do not take the chance.
