This case is advertised, that it will hold 40 knifes, and it can, if they are very small, there is 40 nice wide electric compartments that appear well made, but due to the compact space and the limited distance between rows, medium to large EDC, and survival knives, will take up 2 spaces! All in all, I'm well pleased with the quality and functionality! I just ordered a 2ND one, since I found that my larger knives require 2 spaces! ... show more

This is a fantastic knife case. I recently took a road trip and had to bring some of my knives along and this case worked perfectly. It’s also a great way to store them at home. I particularly like how each section folds out so that you can see them all at the same time, rather than flipping through them like pages in a book like how a lot of the other cases are. They claim this fits 40 knives. That might be true if you collect only the smallest most compact knives. I used it for average M-L size pocket knives and I was only able to fit 24 in. ... show more

Things I would have gladly paid more for - A better handle. The one it comes with is flimsy and cheap. Better spacing between the retaining straps.
