These patellar tendon straps serve their purpose and reduce pain during activity for people with osgood schlatter or patellar tendonitis (jumper's knee). They are very well made and stay put during running, jumping, etc. I run multiple miles at a time in them and I don't ever need to re-tighten them during the run.
