It may not be immediately apparent from the listing that this strap is stretchy like a resistance band, not solid like a nylon strap. That makes it good for light resistance rehab and training, but it can be challenging to use it for a deep stretch. The harder you pull the more it stretches, limiting how much strength you can put into a stretch. It still works pretty well. The handles and sling are comfortable and easy to use, and it comes with a storage/carrying bag. I guess I didn't read the product description, or comments, close enough. The straps are an elastic stretchy type material, like pant suspenders. I'd prefer a non stretching strap. The loop the strap goes through, on the foot sleeve, is 3 times the width of the strap. This causes a lot of play.

As I mentioned in the heading, this is a pretty basic item, a strap that is made to help you stretch. This strap is great as the handles are actual handles not just a loop in the strap and there is a larger section for your foot, again, not just the strap which makes this much more comfortable. Other stretching straps have loops along the strap and you go up or down a loop to adjust the length which provides a few different lengths and this strap has the adjustable buckle that allows infinite length choices including allowing you to select the exact length that is best for you. ... show more

The material seems to be well made. No smells or irritations have occured during use. The bands will stretch and get back to their size without much deformation. I like that is compact enough for portablilty purposes. The handle and straps are friendly on the hands and are well put together.

As a track runner, I find my legs to cramp a lot more than necessary. To avoid future pain and poor performance, my track coach recommends we stretch after our races so that we can remain in shape and ready to go. For my exercises, I followed the images on the product page and they hit the spot. Of course, the more I got to know how to use the product, the more I tested my limits and saw what exercises I could hit comfortably and which I could not. My key takeaway from experimenting a bit was that a lot of the exercises I would need a partner to fully hit were easily done with this product instead. Of course, I'm just a track runner and there are alternative uses, like how you could use this to get your leg to extend a bit more if it is cramped up. Overall, it's a universal product that can be used for a vast range of ages depending on your needs and is something convenient to keep around in your home. ... show more

My father recently had knee surgery and needed to stretch his knee as part of physical therapy and recovery. I got him this to help his stretches, and it does work well for this. He was using some resistance bands that my brother had given him, but the advantage of this item over resistance bands is that this has a loop where you can slide your foot into that will hold your heel. Whereas a resistance band can just slide off, this item will actually hold your foot and is a lot more stable. If you’re just getting this for exercising and stretching, you can do the same thing with resistance bands, but for recovery from surgery, this is a big step up. ... show more

I purchased this because I have been having some soreness in my leg muscles lately, and wanted to find something to help me exercise my legs in the morning. I found it to be a really solid and easy to use product. The tension on these provides the perfect resistance for stretching my legs. The only thing I didn't like was the handles. The hard plastic handles on these, in addition to the awkward shape, made them somewhat difficult and painful to hold. This was not too huge a deal for me, but if you are someone who has arthritis or has problems with gripping, you might want to think about adding padding, or purchasing a similar product that is more comfortable to hold.
