I recently upgraded from a Nespresso pod machine to this espresso machine with a built-in grinder, and the difference is night and day. Not only do I save on pods at home, but I also save by not swinging through the drive-thru at my nearest coffee shop for an expensive coffee fix. I'm able to get creative at home and give my morning (or mid-day or evening) coffee a little bit of luxe and flair. The ability to grind fresh beans makes the flavor so much richer and smoother than what you can get in any of the pre-made pods. I use the Houston Blend coffee from HEB (Texas gal, here) for almost everything, and it really brings out and highlights the flavors perfectly when brewing. The machine itself looks beautiful on the counter and feels much more high-end than I expected at this price point. It heats up quickly, the controls are simple, and the steam wand works great for milk. Even as a beginner to espresso machines, I figured everything out pretty quickly. It's also surprising straightforward to clean (which was my biggest fear). I'm now a pro at getting it going, brewing my beverage of choice and then giving it a quick clean. It becomes so routine that you don't even think about it after a while. If you’re thinking about moving away from Nespresso or pods, this is absolutely worth it. Make the investment into an espresso machine and save yourself money (and time) in line at the coffee shop. Totally worth it!

If you set it up right, it makes amazing coffee- even from supermarket espresso beans. It’s cheap reliable and the single boiler is powerful. Putting the group head into the holder can be tricky, but if care is taken - with alignment- slips in perfectly. Amazing value.

Not good , the coffee bean grinder on top when you put it on the courses ground to grind the coffee to make espresso. It's still too fine and it won't make espresso. It looks like black water.. instead of super Kramer, which it is. Disappointed it doesn't have enough power.

This review is for Kndko 20 Bar Espresso Machine with Grinder, Automatic Espresso Maker with PID Control & Milk Frother Steam Wand, Removable Water Tank – Barista-Style Lattes & Cappuccinos at Home (Silver). I have been using this espresso machine for about a month now and my whole family loves it! Kids included (it took them no time at all to learn how to steam milk for their hot chocolate). I have several friends who have name brand espresso machines, and I have to say that I am just as satisfied if not more so with this one! From the grinding to the espresso, to the steaming! When you grind your espresso, there is a light underneath that illuminates the portafilter. The tamper is SOLID and heavy! It does the job well. The shots of espresso turn out perfect every time. There are different filter options to put in the portafilter depending on your preference. The steamer was a little bit of a learning curve to get a nice micro-foam, but once you figure it out, it's easy to do every time. The machine holds quite a bit of water and rarely needs to be filled up even with regular use. Be sure to use filtered water so you don't run the risk of hard water clogging the machine. It does have an auto sensor that starts blinking when the machine needs to be descaled. I have already had to run the descale cycle once... just a note, follow the instructions for descaling, but you need to turn the side knob to the steam position once the machine beeps at you that it's ready to start the descaling cycle. This is not written in the instructions and it took me a little bit to figure out why it wouldn't start! There is a small storage capacity behind the water tray, you could fit a couple of filters in it. After a month of heavy use, we have not had issues at all with this machine! I am very impressed by its overall quality, competitive pricing, and aesthetic appearance. Definitely recommend!
