I got the version without a front zipper, and it is a nightmare to take off. I feel like a superhero wearing it, but getting it off, the tightness and lack of arms makes it really difficult. Good quality neoprene, and it is long enough.

I prefer multi piece wet suits over single piece suits. I just can't ever get a single piece to fit very well. Or they fit well at first but stretch over time. I've had better luck with separates. I like having a variety of options and am working on collecting different pieces to pair together depending on what I'm doing, where I'm going and the time of year. There are times when I need long neoprene bottoms and long sleeve neoprene top. And other times I need short style bottoms and a tank top style top like this one. And sometimes it's a mix. This tank top fit well. I ordered one size up from my normal polo and t-shirt size. I was right on the edge of two sizes based on the chart and was glad I went up. It's snug, but not so snug that it's uncomfortable. And my experience is that they do stretch out a bit with use. I like to use these for paddleboarding in cooler water as well as snorkeling and occasionally just swimming when the outside temp is a little bit under optimal swimming temps. I've included pictures to show the outside and the inside. The inside is completely standard neoprene. The outside has a bit of a diver's look, but that's not uncommon on other options. If you are trying to build a selection of wet suit capabilities, this is a good choice for the minimal style top. Bonus: helps fade that farmer tan a bit. =)

We are scuba divers so I got this for my husband. I don't know what happened as I ordered this but I know I checked the zip up vest not the pull over, but I ended up getting the pull over. Not the end of the world but getting what I wanted would have been much better. OK, the vest. It is well built and fits exactly as it should, tight. It is difficult to get on and off, but wetsuits are. The belly is a nice slick material that seems like it will be durable long term. He feel that it will do the job it is supposed to and keep him warm even in the coldest water. He wears this under his other wetsuit so that he has layers. Once on he finds that he vest is easy to move in and functions the way it should. It is reasonably priced and very well built. Just verify that you have the right size and style selected before you buy. Recommend if you are in the market for a wet suit vest.

I wear a medium/large in most shirts and got a large 2mm scuba suit that fits great, so I ordered a large in this. I'm 5'11" 195lb and could barely get this on over my shoulders. It's way too tight to fit comfortably, even if I had gotten the zippered version. It fits my wife perfectly, 5'7" 135lb. Other than that this is thin, I'm not sure how it will hold up over time as it didn't seem very durable. The smooth surface looks more like pleather than neoprene. I'd look elsewhere

I'm usually getting size medium-tall or large. According to the size chart for this vest, I would be some where between a large and extra large. I ordered a large, and it is tight. Go with the size chart and if in doubt, go a size up. There was an intense smell when it came out of the package. Should go away after airing for a couple days. The outer surface is very smooth and shiny, not what you'd expect from a typical neoprene wetsuit. It also stays wet much longer than other wetsuits. It takes a bit to put on, and a bit more effort to get out of, once wet. The fit, the cut suits me well. It does the job well of keeping your core warm. Although it is on the thinner side, so not for real cold water. Over all it's a decent product. Let's see how it holds up over time. Also curious how this neoprene / nylon mix withstands the use over time.

This is a great form fitting vest. When the weather's warm, but you need a top that takes the edge off the cold in water sports. It's a great rash guard for surfing or boogie boarding.That little extra rubber padding helps prevent sore ribs the next day. The vest, tank top cut has the extra bonus of making even us skinny guy arms look good. It's a great price that would be probably doubled if it had a name brand logo.
