We got this bed set to compliment the queen (previously guest bed) in our nursery/guest room. Wanted something with both style and function. Looks as great as it does in the photo. I still have to wash it to get some packaging wrinkles out and soften it up a bit. Cats approve, I approve. 5 stars all around. Now I just need to pick sheets to match and add a few more pillows. Transitioned the 5yo to a big boy twin bed and so needed all new bedding. PROs: - Washes well - My son says it's warm and comfortable - Good colors and print was "neutral" - Zipper closer is AMAZING compared to buttons - Fit an IKEA comforter fairly well with just a little bit of space remaining CONs: - Within the first few days, I could tell that the interior ties that hold the comforter corners had come undone making for a duvet to be thin in some spots and lump in others. I thought I had knotted it fairly tight but some of the ties still managed to come undone again later. Not a huge PITA but not great. About every other day, I'll shake the entire thing (holding from the bottom zipper) to even out the comforter inside. If you're looking for a basic duvet cover, at a reasonable price, this will fulfill your needs. ... show more

    • Great quality, washing can be a pain

My first note - it's "reversible" but in my experience, there's a soft side and a not-so-soft side. I'm not too broken up about it because the less-soft side is the one with the pattern I like, so that faces out anyways. The softer side is very, VERY comfortable. I'm not usually a huge fan of cotton, honestly, but this has changed my mind. The duvet cover I purchased is actually softer than my microfiber sheets. And I think you could use some washing techniques to make it even softer. My second note - the ties aren't that great. They work, don't get me wrong, but they don't seem to be super durable. I tied them a little too tight and while using my nails to pick at the knot, some of the loop fabric started to come a little loose. The actual material of the cover seems quite durable, but the fasteners not so much. I will say though, having a zipper to close the duvet cover is much, MUCH easier compared to buttons. My third note - PLEASE note the washing instructions before you buy. You have to tumble dry with NO HEAT AT ALL. Because of this, it can take me like 6 hours or more to get the cover completely dry. I have an old dryer too, so I have to keep starting the cycle again every 1.5 hours. Cotton requires special care I'm sure you're aware, but I didn't realize how long it'd actually take me to wash & dry this cover. My fourth note - ending on a high note, I was very impressed with the quality of material printing on this duvet cover. No bleeding, no mis-match on the seams & printing -- it's very high-quality. Overall, the only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because the ties aren't the best and the washing process is a pain. ... show more

The modern design of this cover is great for any modern bedroom setup whether you be a young adult, a grade schooler, or a bachelor looking to impress. The fabric is thick enough to feel like its good quality but light enough to be great for warm and cold nights alike, it's also quite soft and if it gets hot enough, remove the duvet from this cover and it will work as a perfectly fine blanket on its own. This product I bought to go over my comforter because we decided to repaint my room and the previous one didn't go with it. I would recommend this to someone with a lighter comforter because mine is black and you can see through it. It is slightly hard to put in and can bunch up in the corner. I'm not gonna buy a cover again because I would rather not go through the troubles I did with this one. However, I'm hoping this product will last longer than I hope because it is really pretty to the eye other than the slight problems. ... show more

I purchased this duvet cover for my 6 year olds bedroom. I wanted something he could grow with and this pattern is perfect. The material is a little thin but soft cotton. Overall it was a great purchase.

I was really surprised when I received this item. It is beautiful. It is surprisingly soft. Right now I'm just using it as a top sheet for my bed because it is summer and it is too hot right now. Later on I will throw my comforter in it for the winter. I washed it and dried it. I didn't take it out of the dryer right away, so it was a bit wrinkled, but I don't mind about stuff like that (I'm not wearing it in public)! Anyway after sleeping under it for a week it gets wrinkled anyway, so I don't care, but it is still soft and cool.... great for the summer. I will have no problem purchasing another Duvet from this seller, I'm definitely pleased with my purchase. ... show more
