The media could not be loaded. Worked perfectly as described and fit in my KitchenAid mixer. The only con that I have is the bottom lid fell off during my pork meat tenderizing process. It did click back in, but that is a slight safety concern that it is easy to come off. It also doesn’t appear to click in fully. There is a tiny gap on one corner. It is held in with small plastic clips which I have concern with longevity. The instructions say it is easy to clean, and I agree. However, the instructions do not come with any direction on how to clean. I was unsure even how to open the compartment until the lid fell off on its own. It also describes not using your hands in order to feed the tenderizer, however, it referred to a provide scoop in order to feed the tool. There was no such scoop in the box that came with, or in the instructions to identify if the white brush is considered the scoop as well as for cleaning. Overall, it functioned properly and I was able to tenderize pork loin for sandwiches. I would like to see a little bit more in the instructions on how to properly clean, if this is dishwasher safe? As it doesn’t state. For the price point and the lid falling off, and lack of full instructions, I give this four stars.

This product worked very well, as long as you were mindful of the thickness of the meat you are tenderizing. We appreciated the extra gears that were included, but it would have earned five stars if all the pieces were steel. That being said, the meat tenderizer installed easily into my KitchenAid mixer and processed plenty of meat like a charm. Much more efficient than pounding and tenderizing manually. Love that the parts were dishwasher safe, it made cleaning a breeze.

The tenderizer attaches easily to the KitchenAid and the rollers turn effortlessly. The rollers are heavy duty and well made. My only reservation, hence only 4 stars, is the plastic casing. It doesn’t look or feel very substantial although it does the job of protecting the rollers. It comes with spare cogs and a cleaning brush for getting in the crevices. I am pleased that it is dishwasher safe. This is much easier than my old manual meat tenderizer!

what a game changer. sp easy to use ! Easy to assemble on the kitchen aid. good size to so it does not take up alot of cabinet space ! Very please with this addition to my kitchenaid gadget collection

Tried this out the same day I got it, and it works perfectly at a fraction of the price of the name brand model. The meat came out nicely tenderized. Setup and cleanup are easy, and it doesn't take up much space when stored. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. I was really looking forward to this product, hoping to have a tender piece of meat each time. There are no adjustments so if you don't get 1/2" or less cuts, it won't work. My store bought steaks were close to 1", We ended up cutting our steaks in half lengthwise (1/4"-1/2") and it worked. We found it was too much effort for tenderizing meat.. It would be perfect for carne asada for tacos or salad, but not store bought steak. Buy with that in mind.
