    • Love these speakers
Color: Black
These speaker sound amazing. Very good bass, midrange is very good without being too forward, treble is a tad on the high side, just a tad, but I kinda like it that way. Paired with a Denon PMA 600NA and the combination sounds very good together. They are worth $649.99 retail but at the price $489.99 they are a steel. I haven't had a good experience with other Klipsch speakers, but these are great and I'm glad I bought them. ... show more

    • Sound great with Marantz 2265B !
Color: Brown
I bought these to pair with my Marantz 2265B that I recently had serviced. These pair wonderfully wiht the Marantz in a fairly large living room. We primarily play records on an old Dual and also stream via WiiM Device. Highs & Mids sound wonderful & it hands off to the wireless klipsch 12" sub very nicely. Handles all kinds of music surperbly at this price point. I am not an aduiophile but some friends that know more than me have commented on how well these speakers sound with the setup. And the aesthetics are nice - The walnut look speaker cabinet goes nicely with the wooden cabinet of the marantz receiver and the midcentry modern stereo credenza we have our records on. ... show more

    • Detailed horn-loaded performance in handsome walnut cabinets
Color: Brown
A good bookshelf speaker has to deliver real presence without taking over the room, and the RP-600M II pair combines serious audio engineering with a handsome walnut finish. The larger 90 by 90 degree Tractrix horn is paired with a 1-inch titanium LTS tweeter and a vented tweeter housing, a design intended to improve clarity while keeping distortion under control. Updated Cerametallic woofers handle the lower frequencies, and the Tractrix ports are shaped for faster airflow and cleaner bass. What I appreciate most is that the design is not only about output. It also focuses on detail, efficiency, and a controlled presentation that works for both music and home theater. These are passive wired speakers, so they require a suitable amplifier rather than connecting directly to a phone or television. Dual input terminals support bi-wiring or bi-amping, but a normal single-wire connection with the terminal jumpers in place remains the straightforward choice for most systems. Furniture-grade materials make the walnut cabinets feel like part of the room instead of equipment that needs to be hidden. This is an excellent, flexible speaker pair with both technical substance and visual appeal. ... show more

    • Great Sound at a Reasonable Price Point
Color: Brown
I bought Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-600M II speakers without the benefit of a listening audition because of favorable reports from professional audio reviewers. Turned out to be good choice and definite upgrade over the ELAC Debut 2.0 B5.2 I had been listening to. ELAC makes a good product though they sound less dynamic/exciting (possibly more accurate?) than the Klipsch. Same listening environment, both pairs benefiting from DSP room adjustment. The listening experience definitely improved with burn in time and my personal adjustment the horn-loaded mid/high frequency driver. Quality and appearance come across as first rate – solid build with convincing wood veneer (actually a synthetic wrap). Would buy these again without hesitation. ... show more

    • Great audiophile speakers on a budget.
Color: Brown
I bought a pair of the Klipsch RP-600M-II speakers for use in a second system after we downsized to a condo a couple of years ago. I heard they were too bright and forward but wanted to give them a try after reading a review in Stereophile. After using them for the last couple of years with good amplification, cables, and source components I wanted to give them a review. I have owned and still own some very good stereo equipment from the likes of Cary Audio, Conrad Johnson, Audio Research, Arcam, Naim and the like. Paired with good components and set up correctly on proper speakers stands these speakers are quite good, in fact amazing given the price. I used them primarily with and Arcam SA20 which is on the warmer side of neutral. They sound fantastic, after breaking them in for 20 or so hours they really opened up and have clean clear highs, good mid-range and very good bass response. What really opened my eyes is how efficient these speakers are, I recently paired them with a 3.5 Watt Single Ended Triode vacuum tube amplifier, and they sound great filling my 12 X 12 more than adequately. Good bass, great midrange and silky-smooth highs. These speakers are a winner as long as you don't pair them with bright sounding inexpensive amplification. Anything from Best Buy need not apply. ... show more

    • Great Set of speakers
Color: Brown
These speakers are great. The value you get for the money is almost on par with speakers much more expensive then these. They are not to large so their size won’t overwhelm a living room and very easy to setup. I use them with a Wiim amp and the connectivity is great if you use the right cables.

    • Worth the bucks
Color: Black
These are pretty good, I purchased these on sale to complete my 5.1 surround system. they are not super HiFi like my B&W or Monitor Audios but these deliver a nice full sound for the money. The bass is what I consider pretty good for a small 6.5" woofer speaker. Female and male voice are pretty good, clear and natural. But as expected not as clear as my Monitor Audio speakers. I have tried these with my 12" B&W subwoofer running a Technics SA-DX750 vintage 5.1 100 watt per channel and my vintage Mac-1900, 65 watt stereo receive both will blast you out of the room. As might say these are bright and forward but I don't find the highs over powering but my hearing is not what it once was. Example light brushing of drum symbols are easily heard and the genital acoustic guitar string scratch is also heard. Great speaker for the $450 a pair price. ... show more

    • Been eyeballing these
Color: Black
Review Image by Chargeit
I've been eyeballing these for months. At the full price I kept passing, but, at the sale price of $489, they were just too good to pass up. Coming from Polk Monitor 40 series 2, and these speakers are a noticeable increase in clarity and sound stage. The polk were fine, good even, but, these are great @ $489. ... show more
