  • Klipsch RP-600M II—A Punchy, Clear, and Accurate Sound for Surround Sound Systems!
Color: Black
I recently added the Klipsch RP-600M II bookshelf speakers to my home theater setup, and they have been nothing short of impressive. These speakers serve as my surround sound channels, and they deliver a truly immersive audio experience. Sound Quality: The sound is punchy, clear, and surprisingly accurate for their size. The detail they bring to soundtracks and dialogue is fantastic, with a rich midrange and crisp treble. Even in a surround sound role, they manage to bring a lot of life to the system. I can absolutely see why people use them as primary speakers too. They’re well balanced and do an excellent job at filling a room with sound without being overpowering. If you’re using them as primary speakers, I’d definitely recommend pairing them with the Klipsch RP-1000 SW subwoofer to add some extra depth to the low end. That combination will really enhance the overall audio experience. Build Quality: The build quality is top-notch. The furniture-grade walnut veneer gives them an elegant, high-end look that will complement any decor. The speakers feel solid and sturdy, and they’re quite heavy, so if you're not placing them on a shelf, make sure you get a heavy-duty speaker stand to support them properly. Value: There are tons of positive reviews of the RP-600M II on YouTube, and after experiencing them firsthand, I can completely understand why. For the price, they offer some of the best sound quality you can get, making them a fantastic option in the mid-range speaker market. The performance easily competes with speakers that are priced significantly higher. In conclusion, the Klipsch RP-600M II bookshelf speakers are a standout in their class. Whether you're using them as primary or surround sound speakers, they deliver exceptional sound, solid build quality, and great value for the price. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their home theater system. ... show more

  • Looks great ... Sounds great
Color: Black
I use sub woofer, and switch from PSB Alpha 5s. After 4 months of listening, would not pick one over another. The klipsh have great sound on everything I play, but country western and most classical I hit the switch to them. The PSB s highlight some jazz and rock better to my ears. I love these speakers. I did mount them on stands, and are placed about 10 inches from wall. I do have woofer, but these play so well in combo. Get um. ... show more

  • Amazing sound quality
Color: Black
Upgraded my Klipsch R-51M bookshelf speakers to the the RP-600M II model and there’s a clear difference. First, they’re considerably larger and heavier. I needed a new stand to hold them. Secondly, my receiver setup had to be tweaked for the new speakers, but once done the difference is very noticeable. The R-51M’s are amazing if you’re on a strict budget, I used them for many years and fully enjoyed them. Excellent starter speakers. If you can stretch your budget, the RP-600M II’s go on sale for $470 often and are worth it. Even the original RP-600M’s are a great deal now, and close to the price of the R-51s. You can’t go wrong with any of them. The quality difference is noticeable though. They’re clearly much more powerful, with a clearer sound and better bass. I may not even need my subwoofer and save space. Factor in a sub to the pricing if you’re getting a starter system. A sub is essential with the R-51’s to get amazing sound. Or you could just get the 600m II’s with no subwoofer. Everything just sounds better on these speakers. Vinyl sounds louder, clearer, but with no noticeable pops or noise. Streaming from Apple Music through my Roku sounds better too. Movies and TV sound better. Everything, basically. Definitely worth the upgrade. ... show more

  • Awesome surround speakers
Color: Black
Wow!!! What a difference. I used these to upgrade from a set of Klipsch R-41M speakers that were my rear/side-surround channels. I just thought that channel must not be used much, but now I can hear them great. It's like I'm actually hearing surround sound for the first time. I have these paired with RP-8000F-IIs (left and right), RP-504C IIs (center), RP-500SA IIs (height), and a RP-1200SW (sub). If you can afford it, all of these speakers, paired with a decent receiver, will bring movies to life. Music sounds great, too, but I mainly got them for my home theater. ... show more

  • Decent Value Here; great sound for me with room correction.
Color: Black
Having previously owned Energy Connoisseur bookshelves, I was worried these wouldn't be much of an upgrade, but I was wrong! Those now sound analytical compared to how much closer to the music I seem to get with the RP-600m II. Speakers have come a long way in the last decade and expectations are very high, so I understand if there are even cheaper speakers out there that perform close to the same and everyone is sick of seeing Klipsch everywhere. I also was hearing a lot of controversy or maybe just Klipsch burn-out in various forum comments, but these Reference Premier lines kick major ass. I mean this is Klipsch's high end offering, without being an over $2k boutique thing. The sound is BIG, both fairly open and very forward at the same time, great imaging, and has an American hi-fi "you are there" type of live Grado sound, but with much better frequency balance and perfect dynamics. For people concerned with the giant horns, the tweeter at the center is really only an inch and the receiver room correction actually ended up lifting the treble slightly, so I did not find them offensive in the slightest. Out of the box, they're more neutral than Klipsch traditionally has been, and take EQ very well (a sign of effortless reproduction and low distortion to begin with). The volumes they can hit with clarity with their high sensitivity are almost frightening. I have not had the nerve to get anywhere near distortion levels. They just rock super hard while still able to please an audiophile with the details, bring out plenty of the emotion of the recording and above all just want you to have access to a good time for less than a paycheck. I'm often looking forward to listening to them for hours, at any volume and at any time... as others have said, they play with good dynamics and still sound authoritative at low volume too. I've heard Sonus Faber and Genelec in showrooms, and Klipsch has definitely earned my respect at this price point. ... show more

  • Perfect size for my room
Color: Brown
These are the perfect size for my room (12x21 foot). They are probably the first set of speakers I've had that image at all. I combine them with a subwoofer to get all the bass I need, and am bi-amping them and using a MiniDSP flex to tune the EQ. The frequency response measures great in my room, without needing much EQ. They sound wonderful, with clear and precise sound. They're more than powerful enough to get the room to 96 dB, which is just insanely loud. The build quality is good - the reason I chose the Klipsch over KEF's Q1Meta is because there were many complaints for the KEF's build quality. The Klipsch speakers don't have any issues. I like the large cork pads that are integrated into the bottom of the speakers. While the wood finish is "just" patterned Vinyl, it looks good and seems reasonably durable for the purpose. ... show more

  • Immersive Surround Sound for Movies, Music, and Gaming Immersive Surround Sound for Movies, Music, and Gaming
Color: Black
These surround speakers were the final piece to complete my system. The improvement in surround sound was immediate effects, ambience, and movement now come from all around the room, creating a much more immersive experience. They perform great for movies and high quality music, and especially for gaming on my PlayStation 5, where it truly feels like you’re right in the center of the action. They blend perfectly with my Klipsch speakers and, powered by my Marantz Cinema 50, deliver clean, powerful, and balanced sound. Definitely an essential upgrade for a complete home theater. ... show more

  • Wired Klipsch 600 m ii' s with Vintage Bose Wired Klipsch 600 m ii' s with Vintage Bose
Color: Black
I was really intrigued by the four prong rear set-up and immediately liked the potential for wiring in parallel or series. I was struck by another s post " these m ii' s REPLACE my 20 year old Bose ". Check this out: I have a pair of Bose Interadio 4000s from the mid 1990s. I did my homework. You can not do series wiring with two unlike speakers because it will goof up the crossover (s). I currently have a yahama RX - V 465 with a minimum impedance of 6 ohm. Two 8 ohm equals 4 so ... It's dicey. I have my eyes on the yahama RX A6A which - for the front s ONLY have a minimum impedance of 4 ohm. LOL... I hit the sweet spot jackpot!!! This way I can keep to my vintage roots and create synergy. The interadio have 8 inch woofers and a 3 inch paper tweater. The mix of new and old is simply superb. Very very nice. It may be a marketing miss to think about ditching vintage for better and newer technology. There - from an old guy - is simply no replacement for displacement. Very very happy customer. The Klipsch ads the immediacy and highs that the Bose do not have. The Bose adds the vintage " air ". Don't hesitate on these speakers. I also decoupled all with acoustic foam on the bottom facing the wall. It makes more of a difference than you might imagine! The price keeps dropping over time. Again. Don't hesitate! I picked up the wide dispersion 500 ii' s reference premier series surrounds coupled with an elac debut 2.0 6.5 center. Looking to build a solid old school 5.1 system. Regards... ... show more
