Even there is a newer model these are quite a bit cheaper and sound just as good IMHO. Anyway I ordered 4 so the savings were several hundred dollars. My surround sound system will be delivered tomorrow so my plan is to use these as my front and rear main speakers. I love the sound of these triangle shaped loudspeakers. Very clean through my old HK 3490 at full volume 100 watts RMS per channel. They are shakers with bass set at 50% and treble at 70%...zero distortion heard. Klipch is still the King! ... show more

Replaced my side surround Polk floor standing speakers with these Klipcsh RP-502S speakers. They are wall mounted in my theater room. They look great and sound very good. They are bi-pole speakers and spread the sound throughout the room. I noticed a reduction in the localization, and in my opinion, the realism of side and back surround effects after changing to these as some online discussion about bi-pole speakers suggested I would. They look great, they sound great and they are not clunky boxes hanging off the wall and I'm sticking with them. Great for spreading lots of sound around the room. If you want laser focused effects go with boxes (mono-poles). ... show more
