This was the final piece in replacing my 25 year old Klipsch speakers with the newer copper bowl Klipsch Jamo and I should have done it years ago. The titanium tweeters all around gives me a 3D experience like I've never felt. Atmos movies sound so much better I have to go back and watch them all over again. Big thumbs up. ... show more

As I was slowly upgrading my system I decided to add these as rear surrounds to complete my Klipsch 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos setup. R620F fronts towers, R52C center, R41SA front heights & with the RP502S for rear surrounds. They open up the rear sound field more than I had even hoped for. They sound outstanding & with the dual 5.25"woofers they add excellent bass, as well. Only problem is, now I want to upgrade from a 7.2 to 9.2 AV receiver to add 2 more as side surrounds for a 5.2.4 setup. I rarely write reviews, however, these speakers earned one. Plus, reading the positive, glowing reviews helped me decide to pull the trigger. I hope my review can help convince someone else. They are worth every penny. Buy them today. I bought these hoping to really make my side surrounds more full. My room is 17x20. Back right wall opens up to dining room. Not within the 17x20 boundaries. So kind of open but not really. Also I have vaulted ceilings. My Front stage is Klipsch Rp8000f and RP504-C. Ive tried several angles from 70-110 degrees and several heights for the surrounds. The speakers I tried were the; Sony Core Bookshelf and their towers, Polk T15, Klipsch R-51m, Klipsch Rp600m, Klipsch R-41sa, and Klipsch R-820f towers. Finally this Rp-502s. My top favorite is the R-820f. Obviously bigger speakers and big box. 2nd was the Rp600m. 3rd the R-51m. This Rp-502s sounds so thin. It was all tweeter. The sealed enclosure really robs the surrounds of output. I'm going to stick with the towers for side surrounds at 110 degrees. The bass and midrange fullness gives me that F yea feeling. I would recommend the Rp600m if you don't want a tower speaker. The Rp600m benefits from a big box and the tweeter is more civil. ... show more
