  • Amazing Quality
Style: Pair
I'm very impressed! Small in physical size yet colossal in high quality sound! It turns out that my new amplifier is pathetic. I bought it because of it's small physical size and alleged specs. They lied! At first I blamed these speakers. Then came to my senses... Klipsch wouldn't sell junk. So, I brought my beloved, vintage, 1970s Marantz receiver out of storage, dusted it off then connected it to these speakers. The difference in sound quality was astonishing. Don't let the small size deceive you. It's their performance that truly matters. The old Marantz receiver is too big for my intended use but paired with these speakers, I just can't walk away. I'll figure something out to use both. ... show more

  • Great quality, clean sound
Style: Pair
Used these as left and right speakers with a KD-10sw Subwoofer and R-52C center speaker, for a compact space Onkyo powered surround sound system. They sound pretty awesome. Would recommend.

  • Compact but big sound!

The media could not be loaded. Compact and outstanding sound…this coming from a B&W owner. Highly recommend for budget friendly small room solution!

  • Very Good Speakers, Nicely Priced
Style: Pair
This compact, attractive pair of speakers arrived, promptly and safely packaged, much as described. At time of purchase, they are excellent value for money: $75.00 per speaker. Set-up was easy. I wish that they supplied stronger bass; I'll keep fiddling with my EQ for optimal results. Given their size, I should not have expected a stronger signal at the lower end, but I was too trusting of other reviews of unreserved enthusiasm. At this price point I cannot fairly complain. However, if the cost increases appreciably, caveat emptor. ... show more

  • Very Satisfied
Style: Pair
I'll try to be as succinct as I can. Live in an open floorspace where the living room to kitchen is unimpeded. Bought a Music Hall US-1 record player and connected it to store bought bookshelf speakers that are around 25w continuous each. Placed record player and speakers midway between both rooms. Sound wasn't bad, aside from some audible pops and crackles even though I'm very careful about keeping my records clean, but if I was running water in the sink, couldn't get the volume loud enough to hear the records over the rushing water. Uprgraded my stylus to a Ortofon, which helped a little. Did some careful research to find what would boost the sound plus create that classic sound I remember listening to when I was young through old record players and passive speakers. Trying not to spend thousands of dollars, bought the Fosi BT30D pro, Klipsch 41m, and Daytona MKSX4 Subwoofer, along with reasonable priced 14 gauge banana clip wires, and a gold plated RCA cord. Friends, I am so over the moon about the results. Can tinker with the sub frequency and sub volume on the Fosi along with the bass and treble depending on the record to get the best sound. Also, no clicks and pops. And the speakers sound remarkable even on full blast, but remember to dial the other settings down so it isn't washed out. Highly recommend all components combined, but I'm sure they go great separately with other setups. ... show more

  • Amazing Sound For The Price
Style: Pair
I replaced a pair of JBL bookshelf speakers with these, as the JBL's had been in use for decades and were starting to sound flat and lifeless. Plus I needed to conserve some space on the shelves. I am using these in a small recording studio where I do voice overs and produce thousands of radio commercials every year. So I need something that sounds good, but not something so high end that it won't give me a realistic overview of the over all sound of a produced piece. I had been satisfied with other Klipsch speakers used in my home stereo systems. Fine clarity and nice spectrum of sound. Now, these little buggers don't sound as good as a pair of speakers costing 10 or 20 times the price, but for their size and value they are very very nice. My studio is not much larger than a typical small bedroom so I'm not pumping hundreds of watts into these. They do sound very nice and give me a respectable playback of what I can expect my work to sound like in the wild. These, obviously, are NOT studio monitor speakers e.g. you wouldn't use them a references mixing the latest production from a music studio as special designed speakers are used for this work. For voice over and commercial production I need to listen to things the way the public will be hearing them, and few people are listening to radio commercials on high end systems. These are built solid, look nice, and sound better than I expected and with a bit more clarity than I expect from speakers of this price. Bass ports on the back give them a little extra punch in the low end - and means you probably don't really want to hang them on a wall even though a keyhole for doing this is provided on the back. Other reviews are correct - there is nice bass and clear crips highs, and just a hint of a dip in midrange response but I don't find this to be an issue -- or hardly noticeable unless you're listening for it. All in all they're quite nice at this price point. They fit where I need them. I used banana plugs to connect the speaker outputs - in fact I also ordered some plugs to make up my own speaker cables when I ordered the speakers. First time I've used banana plugs that I didn't have to solder. I did take the advice of another reviewer and picked up the little Fosi amplifier to drive them - I had been using a Realistic/Optimus mini amp for the past 40 years and decided to upgrade. The little Fosi Audio TB10A amplifier sounds great with these (see my other review). You can't really miss with these little Klpisch speakers! ... show more
