I recently purchased the Skyrover X1, and I have to say, it’s a huge upgrade from my DJI Mini 4K! For those familiar with the Mini 4 Pro, the X1 is essentially a clone, which is a great win, especially considering the Mini 4 Pro is no longer available in the US due to political reasons. Despite a few minor differences, the X1 offers similar performance, making it the closest alternative on the market. The smooth flight, intuitive obstacle sensing, and advanced tracking features make capturing professional-level shots a breeze, whether I’m navigating tight spaces or tracking fast-moving subjects. The image quality is solid and on par with the Mini 4 Pro. While the footage is sharp and clean overall, the colors aren’t quite as vibrant, particularly in direct sunlight. This seems to be due to the absence of ND filters, which the Mini 4 Pro uses to better handle bright lighting conditions. As a result, the X1’s colors can appear somewhat flat in certain outdoor situations. That said, the X1 still performs admirably, and the footage is more than satisfactory for most use cases. With the right accessories and a little tweaking, I’m confident it can match the Mini 4 Pro in terms of color accuracy and vibrancy. The longer flight time and compact design, however, more than compensate for any minor color shortcomings, making it a great choice for both travelers and content creators. One thing I do hope for, though, is a broader selection of accessories, like extended batteries and ND filters, to enhance the experience. I recently encountered some connectivity issues between my phone and my drone, but the Skyrover Customer Support Team was incredibly prompt and helpful. I really appreciate their professionalism and efficiency! Overall, the X1 has quickly become my go-to drone for both fun and professional filming. It’s compact, and a fantastic alternative to the Mini 4 Pro for anyone seeking something just as powerful.

This is my second drone and so far it is working well. It does have some spare parts as my pictures showed as well as a small tool for minimal maintenance. The drone comes with 1 battery and the unit over all actually feels very light. The software was easy to follow and setup and just needed to do a quick registration to get started. I like the software tutorial that it comes with similar to my previous drone. It does reach a decent height and decent distance but it you go under a tunnel or somewhere very dense it can start losing signal or disconnect, but that is usual since this controller does not come with high band antennas. I do like the sensors that will stop drone from moving forward if it detects collision. The added feature of following the object is very neat as well. Overall I really like this drone and it is a good upgrade from my previous model.

Nice features and flew great until the third battery on the first day which at 24% gave me a emergency warning which didn't freak me out because I was only a few thousand feet away but before I knew it the battery dropped to 12% and gave me a emergency landing notice and I didn't recovery in time to land in a opening and after days of searching I've wrote it off as gone and it sucks.

The media could not be loaded. This drone is incredibly easy to control. The return-to-home function and updated return point are both highly accurate. It handles wind remarkably well, and the photo and video quality are excellent. The obstacle detection system is especially impressive—clear, intuitive, and very helpful. Although the flight time is a solid 30 minutes, I highly recommend purchasing extra batteries because you’ll definitely want more time in the air. A friend of mine who was completely new to drones was able to learn how to fly it in just five minutes.
