Over the years, our family has acquired several music players similar-looking to this player, but none of them are modern enough to have the USB and Bluetooth capability of this device. This player has all the versatility of the ‘old school’ players, plus these two newer options. The remote adds a lot of options that would have made the player itself too busy with buttons. The designers obviously put a lot of brainstorming into features for this player. I’ve lived through the evolution of formats for “owned” non-streamed music and have a collection of cassette tapes and CDs. My most-recent car is not CD friendly, so I ripped my favorite CD’s to a USB drive, with a separate folder for each album. Although this player is totally CD-friendly, it is convenient to be able to carry what would be a big stack of CD’s stored on a tiny USB stick. The remote control enables you to cycle through the folders, although the reasonably-sized display is only big enough to show the folder and track numbers, without actual names. A lot of recent phones are bluetooth-only and do not have an auxiliary output jack, so the bluetooth capability is essential if you want to stream audio from a phone. I was able to link up my iphone without any trouble at all. I think the sound is okay, but I can only hear the melody of the bass line of I use the remote to set the equalizer to “Rock” mode. …but the very fact that you can choose between EQ settings tells you something about how versatile this player is. This will become my primary music player; I going through the closets to gather up our old players and donate them away.

Great quality little radio. I didn't have high expectations for this little thing but was pleasantly surprised when I unboxed it. It has a little bit of weight to it, which usually means that its constructed pretty well. Its not very loud when on max volume, but hey, its small. Kinda wish there were some options for Bass and Treble but it still sounds pretty decent. Tested every function, CD works well, my unit is a little slow to play when a disk is inserted but once it does, its fine. Cassette works well as well. It actually has a stereo cassette head which was another pleasant surprise. BT features are present and accounted for, and work good. Aux, and AM/FM are present and working well. Overall a good little unit. Better than some of the name brand stuff out there.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second KLIM product and I’ve learned to expect a quality product packed with a lot of features and this mini boom box certainly fits that description. This is like an audio format Swiss army knife: It plays CDs It plays and records cassette tapes (yes, they still exist) It plays from an AUX input cable It functions as a bluetooth speaker It has AM radio with good reception It has FM radio with very good reception It plays MP3 files from a USB stick-and records to one too It has a full function remote control It runs on A/C with the included cord or on C batteries (not incl) This little round boom box does just about anything you will need musically. The cassette player can record from any of the other functions or from the built in microphone. You can play or create MP3 files on a USB stick. The CD player does not play MP3 discs though. There’s a headphone jack for private listening. How does it sound? the speakers are just over 2 inches in diameter (2 1/4-1/2) and sound good for their size and they can get quite loud to fill a medium sized room with sound. I didn’t hear noticeable distortion unless I really cranked the volume up. The bass is limited due to the speaker size, but overall it has a nice full sound. There are preset equalizer choices like rock, pop, jazz, classical or none (flat). I found that for typical rock music (Fleetwood Mac for example) the rock and pop settings were a little muddy lacking treble, but the jazz setting sounded much better-that’s how it was set in the brief video. The boom box is lightweight, compact and very portable. It’s another feature packed excellent value product from KLIM. There’s a long 5 year warranty to cover your purchase too-I haven’t seen many other small electronics with such an extended warranty period included. A printed comprehensive product manual is included in several languages including clearly written English.

This is a blast of nostalgia. I got all my old CDs out and showed my kids how music was before Spotify (one artist for 13 straight tracks?!) Don't even get me started on the tape player. Love this thing. The remote is a little goofy (and by that I mean, very large with tons of buttons that are not intuitive but work fine). The added bluetooth option to keep streaming an option is great. The unit is small and compact and that makes the entire unit seem quite durable (or at least like nothing is going to break). The questions my kids have over the fact that it has an AM/FM tuner is insane (thought they would've figured that out by the car radio, but here we are). This is really an awesome little unit. Finally, the sound is...well, what you remember from this type of stereo 20 years ago. It's not the most crisp thing, but it does fill a room just fine and I'm overall happy with what it is for the price.
