I really like this thing, only thing i dislike about it is the display. For some reason the display acts like you have one of those privacy pc monitor screens on it. Other than that im a beginner with electrical work and this is making me obsessed with testing everything. Personally wish i bought the clamp version instead for like $70. That one is even cooler with no contact tester built in, but if you dont want to spend that much this one works just fine. ... show more

I picked up the Klein Tools MM325 Digital Multimeter primarily for guitar electronics work at my bench, and it has been a great addition to my setup. When you’re working on guitars—whether installing pickups, troubleshooting wiring issues, or verifying pot and capacitor values—having a dependable multimeter is essential. The MM325 covers everything I need for that type of work. For pickup installations, the resistance measurement function is particularly useful for checking pickup output and confirming that coils are reading correctly before installation. Being able to quickly verify continuity is also extremely helpful when diagnosing wiring issues in control cavities, switches, and output jacks. The continuity tester responds quickly, which makes tracing wiring problems much easier. The audible tone is clear and immediate, so you don’t have to constantly watch the screen while probing connections. The meter itself feels solid and well built, which is exactly what I expect from Klein Tools.
