So trying to improve my swing requires feedback on what's going on with my swing in slow motion. To get that level of slow motion you really want two things from your camera, a high Frames Per Second (FPS) rate and a global shutter. I've tried a bunch of different cameras and found multiple issues that rendered them useless. This camera though is great! At 120 FPS I'm able to get slow motion video as resolution good enough to actually see the impact point on my swing and see what's going on. (fixing it is not so easy though!) It took a while to get, but it was worth the wait, USB connectivity worked perfectly with Windows 11 and it work perfectly with Swing Catalyst and Flightscope PC Golf 2.0, which is exactly what I needed. ... show more

I bought this camera for my golf simulator in the garage. The camera arrived about a week after I ordered it. With the limited space I had, the included 2.8-12mm lens could not capture a full frame image of my swing. Kayeton shipped me at no additional cost wide angle lenses which solved my problem. Their response and customer service was excellent and for the price these cameras are excellent. Just make sure you order the right lens for your available space. If you need 120Hz for your custom software, this camera will get you the frames. plug’n’play functionality is severely crippled by the output encoding format. Don’t expect to get 120Hz or any image at all without specialized software. Getting frames requires decoding YUY2 or MJPG (basic capture software on Windows won’t). The image quality is pretty bad. There’s a lot of vignetting from the all manual lens, color is uneven across the sensor, noise is very high even with a lot of light, and there doesn’t seem to be any focal range where distortion isn’t obvious. Construction seems sturdy with an all metal enclosure. This camera might be useful for machine vision, robotics, or industrial monitoring. ... show more

    • Perfect swing camera for golf simulator
This is the exact same camera that Foresight is selling on their website at a substantial mark up. This works perfectly as a down the line camera for me. I have it approximately 8 feet behind and it captures my entire swing. Would buy another if I had the room for a face on camera.

    • Imagine super dark.
The image of this camera is so dark you can’t see anything. I even purchased a ring light to help, didn’t do much. Played with the settings on the camera, nothing, there is no software that I can find to assist in the settings also.
