While searching for counter height chairs many bar stools pop up in the search. I chose these thinking they'd be the same height, since the terms seemed to be used interchangeably. (I won't make that mistake again!), but wanted to keep them, so we had to cut the legs down. They are now the correct height and look great! They were easy to assemble. I was nervous about purchasing barstools online, but read the reviews and decided to buy. I am in love with these stools. They are the perfect size and height. I love that is has a back and also swivels. My family has been eating by the island, instead of the dining table since purchase.
