If you want your PS5 did not sound like a jet engine definitely install this. Since installation, PS5 has been much quieter. I definitely recommend it.

This is a difficult item to review. It is supposed to help with cooling your PS5 but measuring a "better cooled" PS5's performance is really not something you notice (it's not like you can pull up data on thermals on a console). I will say that it installs easily and does not interfere with the ports on the rear of your console. The fan noise is a bit louder than your PS5 without it installed, but not so noticeable you'll hear it when gaming the way you would hear noiser fans on a gaming laptop. One big thing to be aware of before you buy: there is a version of this that fits the PS5 and a version that fits the PS5 Pro so make sure you buy the correct one for your console. ... show more

This is my second PS5 cooling fan. Works automatically and efficiently pulls hot air out of the console. A must-have to prolong the life of your console!

    • Not worth the cost in contrast to duration of usage
This cooling fan does cool but it does not last long. After 3 months one of the fans started making a racket. I tried tapping , reseating the fan, turning it off, waiting 15 minutes and then turning it back on. No go still the same ball bearing racket. Not worth the money if it is only going to last 90 days. If it would have lasted a year then that would be a different story and a higher rating. ... show more
